accurate center punch prior to drilling. Works well.

Somewhat bulky
The spring punches worked alright however the points were not as fine as I had hoped. I use a lot of templates with smaller holes to mark where I need to drill or add hardware and these punches were too large to fit in my jigs. Outside of my templates they worked fine.

Works as advertised and good price.
Use for placing a dimple in surface before drilling a hole. It will prevent the drill bit from wandering. Easy to use.

Works sometimes
I purchased these because I couldn't find my other automatic center punch that has lasted me years. I needed to stake a castle nut which requires some precise indentations into steel. The perfect use case for automatic punches. After maybe 6 uses, the bigger one stopped working. I took it apart and did not see anything obviously wrong with it. After reassembling it works about 2 out of every 3 times. So something is still not quite right with it.The smaller one has been more consistent but just isn't up to the task I need it for.In the end, these got the job done. And at the price, they are almost disposable tools. So I give them 3 stars despite their flaws.

They do the job
There were no instructions, I asked for some description for the adjustment and all I got was a YouTube video or two, neither one explained how to increase or decrease the hammer inside.
