The old one was pretty bulky and I was looking for something a like the hand-held ones we have in our cars, but more powerful and cordless.Everything I buy has to have both form and function, so it was the design and look of this vacuum that first caught my attention. I liked the sleek, black, look and that it was about half the size of our old one. In term of functionality, it has two setting (7K and 13K) which are more than enough to pick up dirt and debris from hard-to-reach areas - and the normal (7K) setting is usually strong enough for most jobs.It’s quick and easy to empty the bin - just pop it off, empty into the bin and then pop back on. In use, it’s light and easy to handle and you get 25-30 minutes between charges depending on how much you use the higher (13K) setting. It recharges fairly quickly and is ready to go again much faster than our old one - which could take up to 8 hours to fully charge.
