The colour is more of a bright purple/plum than the claret colour that the picture suggests. I'm 5 ft 8 and 10st. I usually buy size 10 in all coats and never have an issue. This however, seemed more 8/10 and whilst it fitted and I could get a jumper underneath, I'd have liked just a smidge more room. I did order a size 12 (from elsewhere) but it was much too big and looked shapeless. After much deliberation I kept the 10 and have been reasonably satisfied with it, but do feel it rides up a bit when I walk. I also find the zip is awkward, sometimes I'm faffing around for ages which is really frustrating. I like the long sleeves and that the cuff can be pulled down over my hands to keep them warm on cold days when I've forgotten my gloves. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Really warm coat *by L***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2019* I bought this coat for touring round Iceland and it definitely kept me cosy. It’s really well made and looks good too. The only thing for me which lets it down is the sizing - the sleeves are very long which is a shame as it does make it look more bulky. I am only 5’2” so it might not be a problem if you’re taller. It would be so good if Regatta offered a size 6 or a petite option!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Large sizing *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2019* I was looking for a warm & waterproof coat, with a decent hood.This coat comes with a zip off detachable faux fur trim, and the without the trim it still covered my head.The cuff lengths were fairly long (the ribbed cuff covered most of the back of my hand).It has an internal elasticated cord to pull the coat in at the waist, but I would have needed it tighter than it could go to give me any shape in the size I ordered.This coat felt warm indoors when I tried it on.
