This is kind of a flimsy tool if you're cutting gasket material. If you're an artist and cutting paper and cardboard, maybe it's better.

This Circle Cutter Rotary Compass is cheaply made and the plastic locks which are used to adjust the size of the compass do not stay in place. The blade also slid vertically because the lock which holds it in place is not sufficient. When the blade slid, you find yourself contorting to keep the blade pressed to the surface needing cutting. Trying to hold the compass in the same place when you cut the circle is difficult. It needs a better design. Wish I had paid more for a better cutter of quality.

For large circles, the measurement guide is not accurate, but it marked the circle well. It was fine for what I needed.
