Maybelline New York Baby Lips Dr Rescue Medicated Lip Balm, Coral Crave, 0.15 oz.

I really love this medicated lip balm/stain. I got the coral cove which I wasn’t sure I’d like cause I always wear lighter pink shades. This actually does stain a light pink on me. I had really chapped lips when I got it so put it on every couple hours and in only one day my lips are healed, moisturized, and a nice light pink! This isn’t glossy but it does have a very nice light shimmer. It just looks natural. All the lipsticks that I like are over $30 so to be able to spend under $5 is awesome! I have worn my lipstick over the lip balm a couple times and it keeps my lips hydrated and soft. I apply it about 15-20 minutes after the lip balm. I’m definitely ordering more to have them with me at all times and doubt I’d ever stop using them so hopefully it won’t ever be discontinued.

Very nice! It glides on nicely, feels very good. It's got the menthol smell, which makes it feel very healing although it's not my favorite smell. It fades away quickly though, not a big deal. The color is very very subtle. I got coral crave, which just gives a touch of pink to your lips. This is not a lipstick. But if you're like me and want very subtle color in a balm, you'll be happy with this! And the price is great!

I wear this as a base for any and all lip color and following my lip scrub, every day. The consistency is a bit thicker and more coating and moisturizing than other Baby Lips products (and I love them ALL!) The flavor is slightly minty/medicine-y, but pleasant and does not leave an after taste in the back of my mouth like other lip balms do. I try to never ever be without this in my makeup bag and purse. I do re-apply a few times throughout the day, but that’s ok. I’ve never encountered a lip product that is moisturizing AND lasts all day, but, in comparison, this lasts longer than most. For the price, you really cannot go wrong.

This lip balm gives a very natural colour to the lips and makes them look evenly coloured. My husband borrowed it and loves using it! It has a very strong mint flavor similar to Vicks vaporub, but it wears off after a while. I reapply in 4-5 hours. I love that it has such a strong moisturizing effect. I definitely recommend it to people who want lip care without a makeup look.

I love love love this lip balm so much that it’s definitely a staple for me. I am just so sad to hear that they are discontinuing selling it in stores. So I was so happy to find that amazon has them for sell. I am also happy that there is a subscription for this lip balm as well, so now I’ll never will run out. I wish they had the clear medicated one for sale, but that’s out of stock. But I do love this color it gives a light tint of baby pink to your lips, so it make your lips look pretty. The most important thing that makes this lip balm a staple for me is the medicated part! For the longest time I was trying everything to soothes my dry lips and heal my cold sore that was about to form. This lip balm works like magic for me and healed my cold sore before it started to form. The medicated part of the lip balm has this sensation where it’s very cooling like the tea tree shampoos sensation. So I would say this lip balm works wonders for me. After it did that I was sold forever and couldn’t go back to any other lip balm. I used this every night and every morning after washing and brushing my teeth. I’m very very please and will always be a fan of this medicated lip balm. I will be subscribed till I can’t be subscribed no more! :)

I had this kind of chapstick a couple years ago, got it for my birthday. It was in the Too Cool shade, and I remember liking it a lot because I used to have really bad chapped lips in the winter and it always made them feel better. Just got it today, and just started a stick off! It doesn't tint or do anything noticeable, but I don't really care for tinted chapsticks anyway! It's just like I remembered; moisturizing, long-wearing.. definitely a little tingly, and I really enjoy it. Cute packaging as well, just like I remembered! :) Definitely get the 2 for 5 like I did if you're looking for good medicated chapstick!

The color isn't bad and when first applied it feels smooth and hydrating, but if your lips are already dry and a tinge crusty, the color will collect in the crevices and make your lips more dry sometimes. Also I put this on in the morning and it wore off within a few hours but the tingling stayed in my lips all day whenever I pressed them together or touched them with my fingers. Not the most pleasant as it sort of feels likes I ate a hot pepper and it's in the final stages of wearing away (except it's that feeling all day). Also I thought this would be more hydrating than medicated, but when received the application instructions said it was best for cold sores and lip wound care, so maybe I read it wrong when purchasing but it's not the most hydrating thing in the world--in fact it's more drying than I would like it to be. Probably won't purchase again to be honest.

I was looking for something to moisturize my lips with just a slight tinge of color cause I hate the dry heavy feeling of normal lipsticks. This was awesome! Very moisturizing, and literally just a slight sheer amount of color. I needed something to just even out the color of my lips when they get so dry in the winter. The more you apply it will get slightly darker. Had a little bit of a minty scent/flavor but not overpowering, very minimal. Would buy again and maybe try a different, darker color now that I know the color is very easy-going.
