Great price for homeowner quality side cutters. No complaints.

This is a generic pair of dykes laser engraved "Amazon Basics" but actually pretty high quality. After using them, I'm glad I didn't spend more on a name brand. No spring (which I prefer for one-handed use), and handles that aren't long, but long enough to afford better leverage when cutting heavier gauge wire. Like all hand tools, keep them thinly oiled to prevent rust. Great price for a nice pair of cutters.

These are OK for the $8 price no way would I pay the original price.

I wanted the out-turned ends on the handles for a better grip when my hands are sweaty. The cutters that arrived have the same handles as the 4-piece Amazon Basics plier set with the ends of the handles turned in. The greater angle on the head is the primary need, so I'll keep them and shop for another pair later.

They're nothing fancy, but they do the job. Handles are tight with no perceptible wobble. Finish is what you'd expect for the price, and comfort is good enough. If you're going to be using a set daily then get one of the German or American-made offerings. Otherwise, these will serve you just fine.Cheers!

I use it to cut galvanized steel wires up to 3mm thick. These cutters work well enough.

They cut so easily I went around and cut up a bunch of wire. Hey, that's the way I roll, don't judge. Felt good to cut so easily. I think the angled head will be great for yanking out cotter pins, the reason I got these.
