Picked up a pair of these at a local store. Big fan of Clarks, Spring Step and had never purchased this brand. Tried the pair in the store and loved the look and the fit. The pair I purchased from Amazon were also in the store, but I wasn't sure on purchasing two pair. After a week of wearing them I wanted another pair, so I ordered them on Amazon. Purchased the same size as the store but they fit tight at the toe. I was going to send them back as the bottom strap is not adjustable. My husband used his shoe tree and pushed them into the toe strap as far as he could and left it for 4 hours. Tried them on and presto, they fit perfectly. Love them!

A friend recommended the brand as they are really comfortable. That they are. The insole is cushioned and if they were the right size I assume they would be great. Unfortunately they did not fit well. I normally wear a size 8 - my foot is wider i guess than average. The size chart lists 7.5-8 size and then it jumps to 8.5 size. I called the seller to ask their recommendation and they said to get the 7.5-8 since the shoe has velcro straps and I can adjust if need be. Unfortunately the 7.5-8 was too snug and I did not want to risk keeping them and they don't fit well. I ended up returning them. I didn't want to risk buying the 8.5 and they end up being too big. I just have to find a store that sells L'artiste shoes to find my correct size.....sigh......note: I believe the sizes are normally in European size so maybe that's why the chart is a bit off??

I like all the L'artiste sandals I have purchased. These are no exception. I love the combinations of color, black with greens and yellows, along with other accenting hues. They are comfortable. The size is my usual size, and width is as expected. I can wear them for hours at a time. I need a good amount of arch support, and these are adequate in that area. The one big thing I wish was different is in regard to the strap that goes across base of your toes. That strap does not adjust. I would benefit from being able to adjust it, as after a while it starts rubbing. It doesn't cause a blister, but is definitely less comfortable than I would like.

I love...or should I say loved? these shoes. I paid $124 for them. They're comfortable, attractive and go with so much. BUT my 3 month warranty is up and the sole split along the balls of my foot. For that price they should last MUCH longer.
