Waist of myself is 32” and perfect. Ive seen some comments about the drop crotch but when I roll the waist or not, I haven’t had a problem. They fit like any other MD or 32” Waisted pants. We saw multiple people wearing these exact pants while walking around, and I can understand why. They are warm, wear well with a wool under-layer, and contrary to what others have reported, they are *almost* waterproof. We went under a waterfall, rolled around in snow, wore these pants on multiple hikes through deep snow, and never once got wet. Actually, I found that the “waterproof” jacket I purchased was less waterproof than these water resistant pants. Overall, we were both extremely happy with them, and continue to wear them on hikes and adventures now that we are back home. If you do buy these pants, I don’t recommend putting anything important in the zippered pockets, as the zippers are unreliable. On our way back to the states, my wife put their passport in their pocket on the airplane for safe keeping. Then, when going through customs, their pocket would not unzip. It was a disaster.
