I have two senior indoor cats (brothers), who have developed very sensitive tummies over the past 3 years. Elvis' litter deposits could be mistaken for a weapon of mass destruction! He would stink the whole house out to the point that we'd gag, my eyes would want to run and I could feel my nose dying a little bit more, whenever it came to clearing up the litter tray after he'd used it. Presley is very fussy over what eats, and once he'd find a food that he actually wanted to eat, he would end up vomiting the food back up within minutes of eating, so he'd then be crying that he was hungry again soon afterwards. He'd also have lots of flatulence, a constant runny tummy and would sometimes have a small amount of blood present on the stool. I have spent hundreds of pounds trying out different brands and types of foods over the past few years, looking for the Holy Grail that would make their lives' (and that of the humans in our family), more comfortable. I found that dry food agreed with them more so than wet food did, but despite paying a fortune trying out different expensive brands (and only introducing the new foods gradually and over reasonably long time periods, to avoid a sudden shock to their bellies), the problems still continued. I sought advice from their vet and after other likely medical causes of the issues were ruled out, I was advised to try eliminating grains from their diet and getting foods with high protein content, low fat and without too many unnecessary fillers such as crude ash. I spent hours looking at and comparing the ingredients and nutritional content of different brands. I asked advice from my friends who are veterinary nurses and also in pet food shops, but struggled to find foods which hit all of the criteria- even with brands where you're expected to pay extortionate prices for a tiny bag! I thought it would likely be a waste of time, but done a quick Amazon search to see if there were any brands that I'd missed, and this Lifelong food came up in the search. Amazingly, it hit all of the vets criteria, the reviews looked good, and it was far cheaper than what I had been paying for the big name recommended brand which they'd been eating (with horrendous consequences!) at that time. I guessed it was too good to be true, but ordered one bag as a trial to see how they'd get on with it. I gradually introduced this into their diet over 10 days, mixing it in small quantities with their original food initially, then gradually increasing the amount of this food whilst decreasing their other brand. Within a few days, I could tell that things were going in the right direction. Their stools were getting firmer and had a less offensive smell. Within two weeks, I could not believe the difference in them! Almost two months later since first trialling these biscuits, they still both have healthy looking stools (which no longer smell nuclear), Presley hasn't vomited once and there hasn't been any blood in his stools since he was still eating small amounts of the other brand of biscuits during the start of the trial. Despite usually being fussy, Presley wolfs this food down, seems fulfilled throughout the day and they both seem genuinely happier in themselves. They seem to have more energy and are like kittens in nature now- they love to play! Their coats, eyes and weight all look healthy. My bank balance and experience when it comes to changing their litter tray are happier too! I hope to remain using this food going forward and get it for a great price using subscribe and save. I purchased this to feed the wild hedgehogs in my garden, as good quality cat food is perfect for supplementary food when natural food isn't available. So far, they have loved this and I'm very happy overall. The kibble size is ideal for hedgehogs, as they have very small mouths and struggle to eat anything too large. The packaging is sturdy and resealable, ensuring that the food stays fresh over time. This is a big plus, as it prevents any unwanted pests and keeps it from becoming stale. The zipper is easy to seal and unseal and I've never had it come undone accidentally, unlike press to seal options. Just make sure you don't break off or lose the little red tab! The 3kg size is also offers great value without the hassle of frequent reordering, although it's not an issue if it runs low as it is so quick to be delivered. Another significant benefit is the affordability. High-quality cat food can be quite pricey, but this product offers premium quality at a reasonable price. It’s a cost-effective solution that doesn’t compromise on quality. I only purchase it when it's on sale but that's often the case, usually between £8-11 which makes it more affordable than most brands, especially with meat as the first ingredient. Overall, I highly recommend this for anybody looking for a reliable, nutritious, and affordable feeding option for wild hedgehogs. I will continue to purchase it as long as it's available!

Cats are quite fussy but they do eat this so it was a win win, cats ate it and price was good.

Excellent dry food. High in meat content but without wheat or grains which is better for my cats digestion. They both love it. The only problem is the frequency of it going out of stock and in the price going up and down to sometimes to a ridiculous level. I did originally have it as a subscription product but cancelled that as it was going out of stock so frequently. Now I buy it several weeks before I need it when I see it in stock and at a reasonable price so the cats have a seamless supply. I do prefer the senior variety for them but have bought the adult variety on occasion when unable to get the former and they do happily eat that as well. Would recommend

I bought this cat food one week ago for the first time. Cats love it so I’m thinking great, I’ll get another bag ordered up. For the same 3kg bag, same flavour today it is £21.68, last week I paid £16.22. What the heck amazon?? Some consistency please! All 3 cats love it though but won’t buy it again unless price decreases. I would give 5 stars for the food itself but I’m giving it 3 for Amazon’s messing around with the price!

Bit hit in our house

Cela fait la deuxième fois que je commande ces croquettes sans céréales, et mes chats les adorent ! Je suis revenue à cette marque car l'expérience que j'ai eu avec une autre marque de croquettes pourtant "premium" et soi disant hypoallergénique s'est avérée très mauvaise pour mon chat. Il a eu des problèmes de peau, et avec les croquettes d'Amazon, ce n'est pas le cas. Alors rapport qualité et prix c'est Top ! Je recommande ce produit. Merci Amazon🙏

Das Senior-Trockenfutter für ältere Katzen von Amazon überzeugt mich voll und ganz. Meine ältere Katze frisst es mit richtigem Appetit das spricht schon für sich. Die Kroketten sind fein genug und gut an die Bedürfnisse älterer Katzen angepasst. Besonders gefällt mir, dass es aus frischen Zutaten hergestellt zu sein scheint und einen angenehmen, nicht zu intensiven Geruch hat. Seit ich es füttere, wirkt mein Tier zufrieden und aktiv, ohne dass sich Verdauungsprobleme zeigen. Die Qualität wirkt hochwertig und das Futter ist gut verträglich. Für alle, die ein zuverlässiges, seniorgerechtes Trockenfutter suchen, ist das hier eine klare Empfehlung. Klare 5 Sterne von mir!

Tengo dos gatitas tiquismiquis con el pienso,a demás a una de ellas le a salido una alergia,creemos que alimentaria. He probado varios piensos hipoalergénicos y le han mejorado el picor , pero sigo buscando alternativas económicas y que cumplan con la calidad ,hasta que si con este quw casualmente me aprecio en una oferta flash y leyendo los componentes y tal vi que servia para minimizar alergias asi que decidi comprarlo ya que el precio es realmente super económico,al menos con oferta, especificando más 3 kg a unos 6 euros ,una ganga! Tiene todo lo necesario para una buena alimentación,alto en proteína y sin cereales por lo cual mi otra gata puede comerlo sin problemas y no tendria que estar haciendo divisiones de comida para una y otra .. Ahora esperaré a ver qué tal le sienta , y si funciona pues es una buena opción ya que aún que no edte en oferta es un precio justo y tienes para mas tiempo qie los convencionales ,o almenos quenlos que compraba ahora. Les he puesto un poco encima del antiguo a ver qué hacían,y las dos se lo han terminado de una sentada,por lo cual buena señal,les gusta! El envío me ponía que sería de una semana, y sorpresa ,me a llegado en 3 días ,me a venido genial esto ya que justo hoy se me a terminado el anterior. El paquete llega bien hermético y encima con cierre Zip que esto es un plus para conservar la comida fresca, está genial! Lo dicho a esperar como le sienta pero a primera impresión pinta bien. Haré nueva reseña en un tiempo así ayudo a otras personas que puedan tener el mismo problema. Recomendadisimo! Edito después de más de dos años de uso. Sin duda el mejor, he probado muchísimos piensos por la alergia de mi gata, incluso las otras variedades de la marca y este es el único que le sienta genial(no se que puede variar de uno a otro ya que en teoría es solo el sabor pollo,salmon etc..)pero esta variedad es la que le sienta bien, le ha desaparecido el picor y donde se arrancava /pelava el el pelo,le a vuelto a salir y ya no se rasca. Empezé pagando en ofertas de producto 6 euros por paquete, luego durante mucho tiempo lo comprava a 13 y finalmente ahora lo estoy pagando a 22 más o menos según el mes, ya no puede considerarse un pienso económico pero entiendo que como todo que a subido un montón estos últimos anos .así que lo recomiendo muchísimo por sus ingredientes y composición de calidad sobretodo si tenéis gatos con problemas creo puede ser muy buena opción.

Compré este pienso para mi gato de 12 años que ya empieza a tener digestiones más delicadas. Lleva 3 semanas comiéndolo y estas son mis impresiones: ✅ Lo positivo: El tamaño de las croquetas es pequeño, perfecto para un gato mayor que ya no mastica tan fuerte. La digestión le resulta más ligera, noto menos vómitos de bola de pelo que con su pienso anterior. Tiene un buen contenido en proteínas y vitaminas adaptadas a gatos senior. El precio es muy competitivo comparado con otras marcas que he probado. ❌ A mejorar: El cierre del saco no es hermético, conviene guardarlo en un recipiente para que no pierda frescura. A mi gato le costó un par de días acostumbrarse al sabor (ahora lo come sin problema). En resumen, me parece una buena opción si buscas un pienso equilibrado para gatos mayores sin gastar demasiado. No será el más premium del mercado, pero cumple muy bien y mi gato lo tolera sin problemas.
