A well-written book of veterinary hystology. Too bad for the white-and-black pictures (but you can find the coloured ones in the attached CD). Nevertheless, I liked it.

Good information, but pictures are black and white.
Great information, but why in the world would you print a histology book with black and white pictures?

Very unsatisfied!
This item was ordered at the same time as all of my other books and was the last to get to me. I paid the extra money to have a new book and this book was FAR from "new". It had several dents and wear marks on the cover and upon opening the book the pages were worn and stained. Very unsatisfied!

Black and white
This book has only black and white photos. For me, this was horrible. The information is very useful but if you don't have a histology/cytology background it will be very difficult to understand what you are looking at in the pictures. Color is very important to histology. Many older books have black and white photos. I suggest one with color. If you are really into pathology or histology I would get this just for the good reading material however.

Missing CD ROM that should have arrived with book.
Parcel arrived today. Left on doorstep. Book is great but no CD ROM with it, as there should have been. This is an important omission. How do I go about getting it? Thanks. Martin.

Black & White images
Well written. I enjoyed reading this book. However, it would be a lot better with coloured H&E images.

Great for histology classes but that's the extent of its usefulness. You won't be using this book in practice.

Dellman Veterinary Histology Textbook Good Overview of Subjects
I liked the organization of the textbook, the explanations and the histological examples. It gave a good overview and improved my understanding of the lecture material in my histology course. My only concern is that some terms that were bolded in the textbook did not have definitions and there wasn't a glossary in the back that had these bolded terms defined. I also wish that the pictures were in colour, not black and white. I think the publishers added the cd because of this and I was thankful for the cd of histological images, but I still want the pictures to be in colour in the textbook.

Great Book
I didn't always find the pics so good but the text was great. Got me through my histology exams with good grades and also useful for my anatomy exams too. Would reccommend to vet students. I don't like buying expensive books as I have little money but I do like this one and seem to refer to it quite a lot for various subjects
