This is a review of a Casio Men's Edifice Quartz watch. There are multiple variations of this watch with different colors, bands and other compliacations. I am not a watch collector by any means, but have several of these watches because I like the line.First, some expectations. This is a not a luxury watch but a function-first tool that's more dressy than a G-Shock or a similar digital watch. In this regard, the Edifice brand meets most of my requirements. The display is easy to read with clear hands. The chapter ring is less legible because of the color scheme. The date wheel is visible even when double date numbers are shown. The other complications are typical and honestly, I've never used them. They do function as advertised. I did try the timer functions but with my old eyes, the second hand is barely visible to me.Setting the correct time works as expected.All this said, I do really like the look of the watch. The color scheme is pleasinh. Though far from a minimal design, it's not pretentious and aggressive. Price is great too.

Upon considering this watch, my first concern was the size. Most Edifice watches are large, 45mm or larger but this one was marked as 43mm and it is. The next thing I looked at was the build quality and I was happy for the price point. This is one of the entry models of the Edifice line so I was not expecting much but compared to my two other watches at the same ~$100 price point, this does have some nice details. The dial has chrome, black and red details but anything that is not glossy, is printed on. Only the hands have lumen (glow in the dark) markings, the hour markers do not. The sub dials have two functions; 24hr and a 10min timer that resets to zero once it hits the 10 minutes. The timer uses two sub dials to keep time, one for the seconds and the other for the minutes. Both the second and minute dials have a fly-back feature that is really nice and the seconds dial keeps track when you push the bottom pusher to stop it. Push the bottom pusher again and the seconds hand catches up. The top pushed resets both dials and kicks off the fly-back to zero. Finally the date window is outlined with chrome and easy to see in normal light.The case & bezel have nice glossy finishes but the bracelet is finished in satin. I was surprised to find that the finish on the bracelet feels smooth and soft similar to a $300 watch I have despite the fact that this is a folded over bracelet and not a solid link assembly. There are about eight links you can remove to adjust the bracelet in addition to four micro-adjusters on the clasp.Overall this is a nice everyday watch that looks more expensive than it is. Add this to the fact that Casio is a quality watch maker and I expect to get 5yrs+ use out of this one.

I like the edifice watch

La calidad del brazalete, la caja, y lo elaborado de su caratula son lo que más destaca (por el rango de precio). El brazalete ajustable es cómodo y luce muy bien, el primer eslabón es lámina doblada y el resto aparentan ser sólidos. El broche funciona muy bien.La caja luce bien con la mayoría de sus ángulos pulidos y un buen cepillado en las caras cercanas al bisel. El bisel en color negro no gira y tiene una apariencia de material cerámico con los números e indicadores grabados, se puede ver como están bajo relieve. La caratula contiene mucha información con indicadores a cada minuto, indicadores de cada media hora, indicadores de función en subesferas, fechador entre las 4 y 5 y más indicadores en un patrón continuo para segundos.Las manecillas a primera vista no me agradaron, pero con el uso del reloj entiendes que ese color blanco sirve para facilitar la lectura, el segundero extremadamente fino y con la punta en rojo luce perfecto.Las subesferas, a las 3 indica la hora en 24h, a las 6 el segundero del cronógrafo y a las 10 el minutero del cronógrafo.El cronógrafo es un poco decepcionante, solo mide hasta 10 minutos y automáticamente vuelve a cero.La corona está firmada, los pulsadores tienen buen tacto.En la muñeca luce muy bien, destaca por sus acabados y diseño en la caratula. Es un excelente reloj en el rango de 100 dólares.

Es un muy bonito reloj cronógrafo, muy reflectivo eso sí, para tomar en cuenta. La esfera tiene texturas, profundidad, detalles que lo hacen atractivo. Mi crítica sería que lo enviaron ya con pila muy descargada por lo que el cronógrafo no funcionaba. Un cambio de pila y todo excelente. No soy fan de los brazaletes por lo que inmediatamente cambié a una nato, así que no podría opinar mucho de la calidad del mismo.

The media could not be loaded. Me gustó su diseño, se ve moderno, materiales de calidad, muchos detalles en la carátula. Llama la atención sin verse ostentoso. Reloj casual o deportivo a buen precio.

Le compré este regalo a mi papá. Él colecciona relojes así que sabe mucho al respecto y este, por sus especificaciones es increíble, le gustó mucho y se le ve muy bien. Se viste algo grande, pero se ve bien aún así.Y pues, es Casio, son relojes para toda la vida XD
