Did the job
This is not a small pipe cutter. It's big. It has a large turning handle which is great. Do as some others have said. Put a little oil on the rollers and cutter. Get it lined up and go slow. Once you get your cut started turn the handle a turn after a couple times around. Keep it tight and it will do it's job. It's not the highest quality cutter but it will work. If you don't like the way it looks send it back.

Heavy Duty Feeling Tool, Meant for Light Duty Work.
The tool is very robust, hefty and long, providing good leverage. But the cutting wheel, despite also being very large, is rather dull. I can't imagine cutting anything like a schedule 80, or even schedule 40 steel pipe with it.Maybe larger, thicker walled copper. That being said, this tool performed well enough for MY needs, cutting several 2 3/8" inch diameter wide chain link hollow fence post ends. Keep in mind that these fence post ends are made of very mild and somewhat thin steel. So I consider it light duty cutting. And you should consider this tool for similar, light duty work.I reluctantly give it barely four stars. Only because 3 stars makes it sound like this tool flirts with trash. But it doesn't. It's a decently made bargain-priced tool, that even includes an extra cutting wheel---almost like they know you'll need it...Just be mindful of what I've mentioned in this review. And if you've got a one-time project involving large pipes with thinner steel walls ( or even thicker copper ones ) then this tool might work for you just fine.Satisfied MY needs.

Total Garbage
-Zero Stars-Wouldn't cut through the table leg I bought it for. In all honesty, it probably wouldn't cut through anything. The edge is so blunt that it makes it too wide to cut, even with pressure. It destroyed the table and now I have to waste my time sending it back. Do yourself a favor and spring for a better, namebrand company 🤬

Works well
Used to cut galvanized pipes, like 20 posts about 2.25" did well with one cutter.

Great cutter to keep in toolbox.
Cutter worked great for my piping project. Only used it about 20 times, but it made straight smooth cuts every time.

Can't cut 3" PVC
The 1-3" is not big enough to cut 3" PVC. It would probably cut thinner 3in metal just fine though. The cutting wheel has a lot of rough edges, so not the best.
