... to glue my grandmother's crystal candy dish - a favorite memory from childhood
I used this to glue my grandmother's crystal candy dish - a favorite memory from childhood. It was easy and worked well. It's been 6 months and it is sturdy as can be.

you need actual sunlight to set the glue, should have been mentioned as important info
i have not used the glue because when I went to use it, I was reading the directions and it was evening here and it said that the glue MUST HAVE actual sunlight not artificial light so now I have to find a time in the morning to do the project.

didn't work
After doing a massive search and googling, I bought this for my mom's Murano bird that had broken. I followed the directions EXPLICITLY and held it together even longer than what the directions said. I read everything regarding sunshine, outdoor, indoor, etc. After holding it for longer than recommended, I let go and the $800 Murano bird broke in half and shattered into even more pieces. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT in this product

Sunlight bond.
Follow directions and it works, gotta have the sunlight for a secure bond. Saved a big lead crystal vase for us.

My wife collects Swarovski crystal stars .... I knocked one off the stand and it broke into 3 pieces......after a lot of research I realised that I needed a specialist glue that was uv/sunlight cured. I opted for this one (partly based on other reviews but also because I had used and relied on other bison products in the 1980's). I glued two pieces together and left them on a sunlit windowsill for 24 hours (it cures to move in 15mins (ish) but is fully cured after 24 hours). I then added the last bit and did the same... result, star is back on the stand, you cannot see the joins and the 'rainbows' still flow. On a plus point swarovski breaks cleanly :-) Anecdote.... when we were in the swarovski shop for this year's purchase I mentioned that I'd glued my star - he immediately said we should have returned it to swarovski as they needed special UV cured glass glue to repair them..........this is that sort of glue. I have plenty of the glue left but hopefully not for Swarovski!

This is a good glue for glass but it is not easy to use. It seems to 'set' by evaporation like superglue, but then fully hardens with UV light, such as sunlight. You can glue something in low lighting (I used a cooker lamp bulb at night) but you still have to work fast to exclude air bubbles and to position the parts accurately. Use too much glue and then cut the excess away when cured - it comes away very easily. Tape it together and then put it in daylight the next day.

Didnt work. Twice.

Great for sticking glass to glass. Quicker if you have a sunny day to set it, but works OK in a British winter too

Does what it says on the tin but you need to work fast in strong sunlight.
