Better than a permanent bathtub
I got a lot of use out of this bathtub. If I were to build a home, I think I would prefer using a bathtub like this inside a tile shower, rather than having a permanent bathtub. The inflatable bathtub is better because when you want to take a bath, you can get your whole body under water. Most permanent bathtubs in America are not large enough to let you do this. It takes about 70 gallons to fill it (that's excluding the volume of my body) and I had to turn up the temperature of my hot water heater so that the whole thing would get filled with hot water. You'll want a fast-read cooking thermometer so you can tell the temperature of the water. 117 F is the maximum that is comfortable for humans. My tub didn't come with a cover, but I made one from a plastic shower curtain from the dollar store. I cut the curtain into a 30-inch circle, put masking tape around the edge of the circle, and sewed a strip of 1-inch nylon webbing over the tape to provide some weight to the outside of the circle, so it wouldn't just fall into the tub. I used this as a cover to keep the tub warm between soaks. As an experiment, for extra thermal insulation, I bought another tub and put it inside the first. In between the two tubs, I inserted a military-surplus foam sleeping pad (made of "closed-cell foam", so that it wouldn't absorb water). I had to figure out the best way to empty the nested tubs and of course I had to air them out carefully so as not to let mold grow in between them. Using this technique it is possible to have hot water for several hours, but I can't remember how often I actually made use of the setup, as I usually would only take one bath a day. To air out the bathtub I put it upside down over an expanded camera tripod, outdoors. You can also make a bathtub out of a wine barrel; if you can fit your body inside it, it uses less water (40 gallons), but it is much less portable. Warning: the main photograph on this product is photoshopped and makes the tub look much smaller than it is. It's 30 inches wide.

Love the water
Ok, bought for the sale price but in honest I sorta love this tub. Deep bath to just get warmth, not ice bath for me. I get cold easy and wanted a deep hot soak. For the sale price of $20 bucks it was a fun purchase. i used and found well made, easy to put up and take down. Might be hard for some to get into or out of but I am a small adult woman. Drain work fine, Space was great for walk in shower placement and stool to climb into or out of tub. While draining be careful of falling but I have great shower handles to lift me out.

Not worth the trouble
What I really wanted was a hot tub, but since that isn't allowed where I live I thought this might,in some small way, satisfy that desire. It doesn't. I read all of the reviews and scrutinized all of the pictures and finally decided to order it. There was nothing wrong with the tub. I received exactly what was promised. It was easy to set up. It fit nicely in my small stall shower. I had read in many reviews about the potential draining problems so I put something under it to allow the water to reach the drain. I did not, however, remember to close the drain valve before beginning to fill the tub and ended up flooding my bathroom. Even so I had plenty of time to clean up while waiting and waiting and waiting for the tub to fill. If you just want this tub to be able to sit and wash in shallow water up to your waist because you don't have a tub at all then this might be a good purchase for you. But I wanted to sit in hot water up to my neck and soak away sore muscles. In order to do this I had to basically empty my hot water heater. And it took easily over 20 minutes to get it full enough to cover my shoulders. The little pillow wasn't necessary because the body's natural bouyancy keeps you from feeling any pressure from "sitting on to the floor". The cover was nice because it keeps the heat in while you soak. What it doesn't do is keep the heat in the water for another soak later in the day. I tried draining half the water and adding more hot for a second soak that evening but I hadn't drained enough cold away to get the proper temp I was looking for. I guess with enough experimentation you could figure out the proper mix but it still took a very long time to fill. Draining also takes a long time because I had to open the drain only part way to avoid flooding my bathroom again. Getting out of the tub was not a problem for me because my shower has handicap safety rails along two sides making it very easy to pull myself up and out. I'm not sure how I would have managed it otherwise. I did not have trouble stepping out of it because I am tall with long legs but someone shorter might have some difficulty. Finally, there is the problem of what to do with the thing when I wanted to take a shower instead of a bath. It basically took over my bathroom. In summary, the tub was exactly what it claimed to be but I should have listened to my own misgivings and passed on this purchase. It is just too much trouble to be worth the 10-15 minutes you will spend actually soaking in it.

Very sturdy material, nice size. nice inflatable rim.
I used this one regulary for 3 year now. I like really HOT baths, but this tub still keeps up, looks like new, really! The inflatable rim is very comfortable - you can rest your neck on it and truly relax. The size is very nice too - wenn I fill it so that with me (5'7'') inside water is to the rim, I literally float in it, which is nice for joints and relaxation. Sadly sitting with bend legs is not always comfortable, sometimes feet kramp, and after knee injury it is plane impossible until the knee heals completely. I definitely recommend it for folks who have no issues with legs. Right now for myself I look for stretched leg version...

Sorry we had to return it
We had to return it because it's hard to keep its shape and it's always bent. It's hard for us to keep it in the bathroom and it's also hard to drain water. The size is big but hard for us or even my kids for getting inside or outside of tub.

Love it! I don’t have a bath and hate that fact ! I was anxious to buy this since I’m a tall girl and curvy. But it is spacious and good quality! And to be real my water tank couldn’t fill the whole thing with hot water neither could I so it’s quite big!😂 The water level is pritty high ! You can even hid from your kids in it when the top is on, priceless! easy to install and had all the equipment! After watching 2 episodes and a half of schitt’s Creek the water is still hot ! Thank you for this product and I absolutely recommend it! Even if you have a bath ! Because buy this, you can now Bathe anywhere! Just make sure you can fill it out tho! 🤓 quick delivery!

I’ve got to be honest, I thought this item was fabulous for the price. I only have a shower heated by a combi gas boiler, so there was no problem running the shower head into the tub and providing enough hot water to fill it. I think you’d struggle to fill it with a water tank alone. It’s obviously not the highest quality at that price, but it has plenty of room and keeps the heat in well. You don’t need the blow up seat because your body becomes bouyant. You can’t tilt your head easily to soak your hair so need a cup of some sort to rinse your head. All in all I’m really happy with it and love this style of bathing!

Tiene un tamaño perfecto. Mido 1.75 y quepo sentado muy cómodamente. Me sirvió perfectamente para mis baños en agua helada. Si buscas tina para seguir las enseñanzas del Iceman, ésta es la ideal.
