LaingE14 1-1/2-Inch Buttress Thread Circulation Spa Pump, 230-Volt

I have used this product before works well for the wave pool that is connected to. Lots of power to move flow. Small size big results. Saves power. Easy to hook up. Very reasonable

Original pump in my Master Spa tub lasted about 4 years. Bought a Laing replacement here on Amazon which is identical to the original and it lasted roughly 6 months and started tripping the GFCI breaker. I removed the pump and inspected it. No water in the electronics compartment but the impeller is binding and pump does not spin if you apply power to it. I'm assuming it leaked water into the motor and corroded/shorted electrically. Just read the numerous other reviews with the same issue of short pump life.Getting better at removal/installation but can't keep spending $200 on a pump every few month:(Anyone know if there is an alternative pump of better quality. Master Spa sells only this brand pump for my tub. Is my $7000 tub junk because of this pump??

I ordered this pump to replace the circulation pump on my Endless pool. The model number was slightly different than the one on my pool so I contacted the pump manufacturer (Laing). Turns out the pump itself is identical except for the wiring harness... Endless pools has a unique harness with a unique model series. The pump bracket also is cocked 90 degrees off from this version. But the harness was very easily swapped out using the old harness and the bracket is not used with my installation anyway, so I removed it. Note I had to remove (re-cock would have worked) the bracket since the equipment cover would have conflicted with the bracket. Finally, the warranty was the same that Endless pools gives for replacement parts (1 year). So given the cost savings, the small amount of extra effort for the harness and bracket was well worth it.Note that PVC end couplings complete with new o-rings came with this pump. I didn't need the PVC end pieces since this was a replacement... but the new o-rings saved having to buy them.The attached pictures 1) compares the two pumps showing the different bracket angles and 2) the removed endless harness over the new pump with the cover removed before the harness was replaced. Note that the bottom half of the pump can be unscrewed to remove or re-cock the bracket. I however just cut the bracket off since I didn't need it.

The pump shroud was misalignedBut a simple fix.Thanks for the new picture end cap they came in handy.

This was the correct model number replacement for the brand of tub I have.Make sure that you have enough cord length as it is a little shorter than the stock pump that this replaced.

Exact replacement for a failed continuous flow pump on Hot Tub. Installation couldn’t be easier including the wire harness. Worked great!

This is the 4th circulation pump I have replaced on this tub in 9 years . I know the pump runs 24/7 But i think They are not made to last. The cord was 3 ft. and my masterspa takes a 6ft cord . had to order directly from masterspa wgich was $60 more for the longer cord. What a racket.

I bought this July 2023 and installed it August 2023.The circulation Spa pump stopped working August 2024.There is only a 1 year warranty for this product. That's Convenient for "I Heart Hot Tubs & Pools".Buy every warranty available because this product will break right after the standard 1 year warranty.4 year protection plan sounds like the only way to beat a company with terrible customer service
