Betts 4N4-I Tyzac Nylon Cast Net

Great net especially if you want to catch smaller baits 2" or less. Would reccomend

First thing I noticed was that it feels like it is made from the string they use on kites at the dollar store! How on earth it stayed together over creek rocks is beyond me...... Oh wait it doesn't. The horn broke in my hand before the first cast. The net itself sinks slow ah from the nylon, and it rips if it touches anything. This is a waste of money. I was so excited about 1/4" mesh though and my idiot butt thought nylon would be like braid..... I was dead wrong. Save your money for a monofilament and if this company thinks this is what we need to catch bait..... I'm not touching anything with this name on it!

The tag ends of the monofilament braille lines constantly snag the nylon making very difficult to get a clean throw and sometimes rendering the net unable to close. Total bummer.

Do not buy Nylon Cast Nets, throwing into the wind is rough, also the spook factor with the Nylon compared to Mono is significant! The bait can really see the white (nylon) net coming at them. Net Function is fine!

I just got my net in today and the plastic disc on the main line is cracked. Im not one to grip but once i get some good weight in the net im afraid its gonna break. The box says its hand made for perfection??
