I am very happy with the performance of the Proster Anemometer. I purchased the device to better monitor local wind conditions when kayaking or flying kites with my grandchildren. I have found both the wind speed and temperature estimates to be quite accurate. Velocity settings can easily be adjusted via the mode button to: m/s, ft/min, knots, km/hr, and mph. Temperature settings, Celsius and Fahrenheit, are set using a push pin on the back of the case.I would be remiss if I failed to say something about the great customer service that I received. Not long after receiving the anemometer, I was contacted by the seller to see if I was satisfied with my purchase. I replied in the affirmative, but I pointed out that the device did seem to have one quirk. Although the device worked perfectly once powered up, the anemometer would not power up again after shutdown until I removed and reinstalled the battery. At first, I thought that it was simply a battery issue, but after putting a new battery in the device the problem persisted. A minor inconvenience, but not a game changer in my mind.ProsterUS, however, immediately offered to send me a second device gratis, and I am happy to report that the performance of the second is equal to the first without the start-up glitch.

Would of gave it a 5 star if the batteries were anything other then the coins, it works well and accurate. It's easy to use and understand perfect for cfm checks in hvac systems

I wish the product was larger but that's on me. Product description has accurate measurements. I provided a picture for scale. This device is very compact and light enough to put in your pocket. It performs as advertised and is well priced. Some have commented on the difficult to use 2-button interface. After a few tries it appears pretty intuitive however, you may want to keep the instructions handy just in case.I will be sure to put it to good use.

Love it gives not only the wind velocity but also the Ambien temperature, Km/Miles, Meter/ Miles, Average, etc. The battery is 2032 and it has an O ring in the back cover to make sure it does not comes out, very easy to install. I tried already and its pretty accurate. It comes with this yellow rubber protector case that makes it look good and protect it at the same time, also come with a string to attached to the bottom part of the unit so you can put the other end on your hands so it dose not fall out of your hands. Very good quality built.

It's okay. It's compact and isn't hard to use, but the accuracy is pretty poor. Stated accuracy for wind speed is +/- 5% and for temperature is +/- 3.6 F. That's pretty bad accuracy, but in practice I've found it to be even worse; it's currently telling me that my living room is a sweltering 79.5 F, but it's actually 68. Even if it was as accurate as stated, I wish I had gone for a more precise one; I can guess temperatures and wind speeds to this accuracy without a device.

My initial review was unfair based on my own stupidity Read the updated version and ignore the original.Piece of junk. No battery compart on the one I got. It has a stamped-in area that looks like it was where a battery compartment was suppose to be but the only way to get into it would be to cut it out with a knife I guess and then no telling if it has the necessary wiring underneath. Have not heard from the mfg. yet but I'm pretty sure I will be outta luck on this one if I have to pay the return shipping to Shenzhen City Guangdong Province China. I'll let you know what they do about it.UPDATE: Mfg. contacted me the next day after submitting my claim Man do I feel stupid. There is a yellow protective covering over the unit that must be removed to access the battery compartment. My bad. I was in a rush and didn't do a thorough job of inspecting. The stamp on the back is a little deceiving as it appears to be where the battery compartment is. IMO they would be better off just to leave that off. I have not had a chance to take to the range yet but it seems to work in my back yard OK. My thermometer is reads about 2 degrees high which is in their published accuracy listed. Didn't really get it for temp anyway. I changed my rating based on the Mfg.'s quick response. I think this is good value for the money and the Mfg. was very quick to respond. The item arrived ahead of schedule by a couple of weeks or so.

Lieferung kam pünktlich. Über das Gerät selbst gibt es auf YouTube schon genügend Rezensionen. Für mich ausschlaggebend war dass es und handlich ist, so dass es nicht noch viel Platz in Anspruch nimmt. Das Gerät misst zuverlässig in dem Bereich in dem ich es brauche.
