Wanted to get a set of LED flares as a "just in case" for the car. They are solid and most importantly the gasket seems good and snug so if I would need these in bad weather they won't fail. Keep in mind there are no batteries included so you will need aaa's 3X4. They have several flash patterns which give different run times depending on which one you select. It also has three white LED's for work light purposes, a hook for hanging and a magnet. Feel better having these in the car.

This is a great emergency light. Overall dimensions: 3.625" in diameter x 1.31" high. Weight (with batteries installed) is 4.9 ounces. The unit uses 3 AAA batteries. The battery compartment is accessible by removing two Philips screws (two mini-pry clasps need to be pushed/pried also). The unit has a side-round-hook and a J-hook on the backside. There is a powerful magnet on the back. The unit is orange. There are 12 LED's positioned equally around the unit as well as 3 LED's on the top of the unit. The 3 LED's on the top are good as a flashlight. A molded-in Power Switch/Function Switch controls all the various modes. With repeated presses you will arrive at the mode you wish to have. The 12 LED's are reasonably bright and the various patterns (some solid and some flashing) will give people notice. I purchased 6 lights and they came in a smart little bag that holds all 6 units. I like these for my car to be used in an emergency situation. The unit is a rubbery-plastic that will help keep it in place too. The length of time the batteries last depends on the mode the unit is in.

So I bought these in 2021 and put them in my RV and kinda forgot about them. 4 days ago we were coming back home from a vacation when a guy rear ended us going over 80. Thank goodness everyone involved was for the most part ok. I took these flares out and to my surprise they still had power and worked perfect, the fire truck ran two of them over and the flares shot out from underneath the tire and landed about 30yards away. I thought it was busted but went and picked it up anyways… I was shocked when I looked at it… it looked like new and turned right on…. Highly recommend these.

Just got them. I'll echo what others have said - they seem durable enough, but having to use a screwdriver to replace the batteries is a non-starter. I should have looked around some more. I like the idea of the white lights, but lets face it by the time I need to use these bad boys the batteries are gonna be dead and even if I had spares, who's gonna find a screwdriver in the middle of the night while broken down on a busy highway. -- bottom line - consider the features vis-a-vis others before you buy. These may be a great buy for you, but not so much for me.

This is a highly valuable pack for the money. It contains bright orange LED’s for distant visual clarity. There are 8 or 9 different LED modes in which the pattern flashes. Simple on and off button with clear instruction page makes it easy to pick up and start using. Also it carry’s a multi-use flash light for emergency situations by hitting the power button quickly twice! It also contains a magnet and hook for convenient display or placement. The LED’s take 3 triple AAA’s per each unit. They seem to be highly durable and water tight! I highly recommend these road safety lights for anyone traveling! Keep these in your care JUST IN CASE! I had a puncture and since new cars no longer come with a spare, I had to wait for the RAC, I was on the corner of a duel track, at the time I didn't have my lights but have gotten these since, they are magnetic to the car if you prefer, but the VERY bright strobe light is excellent if places on the road too. I wont get caught out again.
