Chattanooga Hydrocollator Moist Heat HotPacs - 15" x 24" Oversize

Great quality.

I have various medical issues and since trying one of these at my chiropractor office I knew I needed one .Easy to use , before 1st use soak in non corrosive pot of water at least 2 hrs I did overnight . Then just boil or microwave for 15mins at least . I boiled as I thought it was safer. This oversized one is pretty big and so I'm using my crock pot as my biggest pot isnt big enough to fully submerge it at one time . You can boil it as much as it fits and then rotate the non boiled side . It will stay pretty warm still even after I turned and boiled for another 15mins . After heating to desired tempature i wrapped mines twice in a bath sheet because it does get very hot ! It does have a interesting clay smell but the benefits are so worth it . Each corner has a loop for hanging . This works really well especially during the cold months . Both me and my husband love it .I'm so glad that I finally bought one despite it being $20 and thinking that was ridiculous. There is no adequate substitute for this . A heating pad that does moist heat isn't as good as this by far. Defenitly getting another in the future .

I don't know what else to do. I have reported to the company that the material is not holding. Clay is leaking out all over. This has happened with each new hotpack we have purchased. I contacted the company and they stated that patients should not lay or sit on the hot packs. If this is true, why has the product been able to hold up in the past? Why we just noticing this now? We are looking for another company.

This one is lg so I needed a bigger pot and boiling it seems to be better than microwave seems to hold heat better. Just wonderful would recommend buying the cover.

They are right not what it used to be and the price went sky high. In the 80s this was considered commercial quality the go to for the world of quality. I get about a year out of unit which is not bad trouble there competition is worse so its now the best of a bad groupi am going to guess the early deterioration stated went they started to be made in china and put profits over quality you still get a year for 40 bucks half the prrice of one pT session

I am disappointed that the quality of the material used for these packs are not what they used to be. I have had 2 packs by Chattanooga that have deteriorated in about a year. The originals I have and had are far superior quality. I bought the unit and packs from my school about 8 years ago and I have some of the original packs.

I have been using Chattanooga products for over 20+ years and they do NOT make them like they used too. My packs last about 4 months and break as the fabric is thin and cheap and does not last. My last purchase was the end of December of '22 and I have to purchase again in April. Not good
