100 Most Dangerous Things On The Planet

I had this book when I was younger and I loved reading it. I bought it to take a little trip down memory lane, and the book itself has some cool survival tips. Great book, be warned about buying used though. I figured there might be a search or two but this is slightly beat. The pages are my real complaint as they are very stiff and a bit bent. I did also get the book for much cheaper so take that into consideration. The book is great though.

My son loves this book so much that when his first copy was destroyed by his younger sibling in a terrible sippie-cup related incident, he begged for another copy. We complied, and were happy to make the investment. He carries the book with him in his backpack, or in the car, or wherever, and he is constantly spouting out details he has learned about the "100 Most Dangerous Things". The science in the book is accurate, yet written on a level appropriate for most children to understand. Whatever inspires kids to read is okay by me, so if your little one is intrigued by tsunamis, snakes, and electrical storms, then pick up a copy ASAP!

My 10 year old grandson loved this book. It arrived just a I was leaving to pick him up from school, so I took it with me and let him have it for the ride home. He's a good reader but doesn't really like reading. He read for a full hour. I had to pry the book away from him so he could do his homework. Usually it's no contest for what he does in his free time - nothing but Minecraft. Today, this book was the winner.

My 8 year old found this book in his classroom and apparently there has been a daily "fight" over who gets to read it in the classroom so he begged me to order it. Unfortunately for him, his 17 year old brother found the book and couldn't put it down. He's finally finished and now my 8 year old is reading it all the time. I haven't read it personally so that is why I only gave it four stars.

I bought this book for my oldest great grandson who enjoys the series. He has read all of them now except the latest release which I plan to get him next Christmas. From his comments, I understand that these books are quite entertaining as well as educational. I am glad to find something in his age group that covers both enjoyment and learning. I will continue to buy these as long as the series continues.

My boys discovered this book at their first grade Scholastic book fair. After showing their class, the book fair sold out of this book and had to order several other copies and this and the other books in the series are now a staple at all our book fairs.This series is presented well, highly captivating, high interest, and encompasses all reading levels.And its about dangerous, gross, disgusting, exciting things... what's not to love?

If you want to know how to survive an attack made by wild boar, read it! It's all the dangerous stuff you wanted to know!

My kids saw another version of this book at their school book fair. However, they ran out quickly, so I ordered this one. My kids (ages 8 & 10) have been glued to it! We also ordered "100 Most Awesome Things On the Planet." And, chances are, we will own some other books from this series in the near future. :-)

As a primary school librarian I have to say that this is our most popular read! In fact I have now bought all of the series by Anna Claybourne for the school. Really helped me out with some reluctant readers.

My 11 year old daughter loves this book, she once got it in a library, she wanted to own it, so I got this book from Amazon. Price was good. It's full of facts about dangers.

Essential reading for every child! Great value for money; great service; great read; hours of fun for your child; hours of peace for you!
