Summary: Unbelievable! We tried sooo many other options for our displaxtic dog and NOTHING came even close to Pure Paw! I researched for MONTHS, and am SO happy to have finally found the solution to recovering our beloved dog's quality of life. Details: Fellow Dog Lovers, I very rarely leave reviews but I am SO incredibly happy with the results my pup (8.5 yr old lab-golden retriever mix) has achieved in just less than a month of using Pure Paw glucosamine blend that I HAD to let the rest of you know, in case any of you are as desperate as I was a month ago. Demian, our dog, started having a pretty bad limp about a year ago after doing any kind of running. We'd take him on his usual 2-mile speedy run and let him off leash (so he'd run twice as much as he'd weave in and out of the forest) but he'd barely be able to get up the next morning, was super sore and limping for at least three days and sometimes up to five! On his worse weeks, he would even show signs of depression where he was simply unable to chase squirrels, bark at birds and track down iguanas, bother his sister pup and cuddle with his humans. You know, fulfill his dreams in life! Please keep in mind that although we don't take Demian running everyday, this is a dog who gets almost daily walks, and runs of leash at least once or twice a week, and whenever possible (several times a year) we take him to his blissland - the beach - for weekends of unrestricted running up and down the coast and jumping in the waves as labs love to do! We live out of country in a country where dogs are allowed off leash anywhere, lucky Demian. About six months ago he was diagnosed with elbow displaxia with signs of displaxia in other joints as well and we were told it would likely only get worse, but that we could treat his symptoms with hyaluronic acid injections (called Legend, developed for horses but works wonders on some dogs, although not all respond to treatment), physical therapy, weight loss (it wasn't much he had to lose but it did make a bit of a difference) and eventually we would have to consider allowing him to lead a normal life but treating his pain with pain killers after long runs. We went through the whole course of injections, sadly, to no avail. Although we have several friends who swear by this, our dog is one of the few that does not respond. We went online, too, of course. I read all about glucosamine, choindroitin, msm, hyaluronic acid, bought and tried a number of supplements (we really were looking for the best, no expense spared!) to try to keep as natural as possible but we had little results. We went through the disheartened phase, and went back online to keep researching. I had never tried the liquid form and thought I should try sth different. I read somewhere the absorption is faster and also, I struggle a lot to get my dogs to chew tablets if they don't like the smell of them so it was always a nervous moment to open up a fresh bottle of really expensive imported vet supplements to see if the dogs would eat them or if I would have to pull out the good ole' pill grinder and spend an extra 5 minutes of my day tricking my dogs into taking their vitamins (by the way, pill grinders are hard to find but I've had luck at a few U.S. big name pharmacies, and they are a great alternative to stuffing your fingers half way down the poor dog's throat if you MUST administer a pill they won't eat). Long story short, not only has the liquid been a fail-proof easy solution to getting ALL of the medicine into Demian's system EVERYTIME, this formula has been UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE!!! It has a very complete formula and the right concentrations of each component for our dog. In a few short weeks he went from a 3-5 day recovery period after each run, to barely limping at all after long runs!!! I am SO amazed! You should know that he is not taking anything else, these results are 100% the success of the Pure Paw liquid formula. I am SO grateful to Pure Paw for giving our otherwise very happy and joyful and sweet playful old VERY loved pup, a new lease on life! I am the proud parent of two Tibetan Mastiffs who are not pets.....they are FAM1LY! Both from the same litter, the boy weighs 175 pounds, and the girl is 115 pounds. Unfortunately, the girl seems to have been born with "issues." At 3 years old, she tore her main ligament in her left knee, and had to undergo very expensive knee surgery. About 9 months later, as expected, the other knee blew out as well. Even at her current young age of 4.5 years, she seems to have a somewhat difficult time getting up from a lying position, and doesn't even run anymore; it's more of a fast walk. It really saddens us. Upon our vet's recommendation, we put both babies on a liquid glucosamine regimen. Within about 3 weeks, we saw a noticeable difference in her "vibe" -- she seems less strained when she gets up, and she is trotting with greater vigor and a more pronounced smile on her face. The boy also seems to be more peppy, wanting to play-wrestle with his sister, and they both go at it very playfully. Thank you for a fine, quality product. We have a responsibility to provide our family members with the best care possible, be it vaccinations, surgery, healthy food, exercise/activity, and health maintenance. Updated. I purchased this for our 8-year old black lab/golden retriever mix. She's 91 lbs and about a year ago she stopped jumping on the bed and the vet confirmed her hips are deteriorating. A few months ago we did an 8-shot series of Adequan along with Glucosamine tablets and the combo seemed to work. She was jumping on the bed again for the first time in a long while. But once we stopped the Adequan shots she started to deteriorate noticeably. FYI, the initial 8-shot series is supposed to "load" them up and then you're supposed to maintain that level with booster shots as needed. On 9/12/2015 we started her on another 4-shot series of Adequan to boost her levels up again and that's when I switched her to this liquid Glucosamine option. Both dogs LOVE it. We put 2 teaspoons on 2 scoops of Blue Buffalo Grain Free Large Breed and they're suddenly fighting over their food and the cats are licking the dog bowls clean so apparently cats like it too. We've now gone through 2 full bottles and our girl is noticeably more perky and it really seems like she's not struggling to stand up like she did before. I just bought two more bottles so we can see how she does now that the shots are done. I will update again after these two bottles are done. She needed something stronger and more potent than her tablets. I added this to her breakfast along with kibble and some wet food and mixed it well. She ate it all with no complaints or hesitation. It’s good to switch up their joint medicine between tablets and liquid form.

My dog won’t have anything to do with any of the more popular solid glucosamine based “treats” so it was a great relief that she accepts the Best Paw liquid supplement poured over and mixed in with her food. At her weight of 15 pounds with a daily dose of 10cc, the 32oz bottle will last over 3 months so the cost is minimal while her 11 year old joints have shown a clear improvement over the past 6 weeks of daily use. Update: It's been around 9 months now and she's 12 now. She still licks her bowl clean and is doing great. One sure sign of the effectiveness of this product is her interaction with the carpeted steps she uses to get up onto our bed. Since our bed is pretty high and she's a dachshund, she's low to the ground and unable to jump onto the bed so we have a set of 3 carpeted steps that allow her to get up onto the bed. When she was younger, she would use the steps to get up but jump down onto the padded carpet runner. As she got to be over 10, she wouldn't jump down onto the carpet anymore but use the steps to get up and down. Now that she's 12 and been on this product since for the past 8 or 9 months, she still uses the steps to get up onto the bed... but now she prefers to jump down again... not bothering to use the steps. I think that says it all.

These are frequently sold out, so I hesitate to leave a review saying how amazing this stuff is! My nearly 14yr old German Shepherd has moved so much better since starting this. We have to do the allergy friendly flavor because of allergies, but I really can’t say enough. I’ve recommended this to several people and they’ve had the same success.

I bought this in June and it's been 1 months th since I have been giving it to my dog. I put it in his food and he eats it with no problem, but I do not see any difference in him. If anything some days seem like he is getting worse. I had to start giving him meds for his arthritis and pain.

Our (1 year old) German Shepherd has elbow and double hip dysplasia. He's a mess. He's also been on glucosamine products his whole life and I can say 100% that this product is the best by far. He goes to daycare once a week and his hips would be causing him major pain afterwards, with recovery taking nearly the entire week (and then the cycle starts again). With this liquid, he's fine in half a day to a day. No weakness or limping and we no longer need Carprofen. It's astounding. No chewable has ever been able to come close to that, not even Phycox. This one singular bottle has lasted a little over a month, he gets two teaspoons in the morning and evening. We pour it over his food and he goes to town. I'm super impressed with this product and can't stop recommending it. Even the vet noticed a difference at his yearly checkup.
