I have four children who like to write and draw, so we installed a large white board in our home to cut down on the amount of paper the children were using. Our children are between the ages of 10 and 3. These markers have held up better than I thought they would...every once in a while i put a set of all colors in the box out for our children to write and draw. Our 3 year old loves writing and drawing but doesnt replace the cap. Our white board is used every day, it is never clean(someone is always drawing or writing on there). So the markers are being used constantly. The ink is very vivid(sharp) and true to color and my children like to draw and write with different colors. The 5 star review is for the fact that these markers have lasted this long with 4 children granted it is a box of 60 and also the fact that after a few days when one of the children has showcased their work(doesnt want to erase until photos have been taken), they still erase very well. I came to reorder markers because I am down to the last set of 10 and didnt realize I last ordered almost a year ago. Today is 05/30/25 as of this review. I will definitely reorder. Will these work for that purpose?** A: Since you gonna put them in freezer the answer is unfortunately No, because these markers are easy erase due to water base ink, I use them for white boards in office for quick erase notes, what you need is marker brand Sharpie or other brand but MUST be labeled PERMANENT which their ink is oily base and water proof, however with long use in freezer will be faded, so cover the text with a transparent tape and rest assured :) **Q: Do the points spread out, or remain thin?** A: The points stay thin, but with use, they spread a little. I love these whiteboard markers. **Q: I buy a dozen at a time yet they all dry out in well under 1 year. I store them standing up with cap down. Am I storing them wrong?** A: Based on what I've read, they should be replaced every 4 to 6 months (longer than that and you can expect them to start not working properly). As for storage, most "experts" I read say to store them exactly as you do - nub (cap) down, so you're doing that correctly.
