You Can’t Go Wrong with This – Great Form of Magnesium, and a Reasonable Dosage
It can be very confusing at first when trying to pick out a good supplement when there are so many different types out on the market, especially with Magnesium due to there being so many different forms of it available. Importantly, not all of these forms are equal in regards absorbability and effectiveness. This specific supplement is one of the good ones on the market.Firstly, the form of Magnesium here is Magnesium glycinate/lysinate chelate. This form is much more absorbable than the cheaper forms as they are bound to amino acids so they can be carried into the body far easier than the other forms. Most of the Magnesium supplements you will find (or the Magnesium included in multivitamins) will most probably be Magnesium Oxide which is a very cheap and poorly absorbed form. So, this supplement with glycinate/lysinate chelate is a major improvement. The dosage may not seem as generous as some other supplements offer, but due to the bioavailability, the dosage does not need to be any higher as you’ll be absorbing more than if you would be taking a cheaper supplement with a higher dosage on the label. If taking the full dosage of two tablets, then you will be receiving 200mg which is half the recommended intake for the day which is just fine. If you’re eating real foods then you should not need to rely on supplementing to get all your nutrients. You may have seen Magnesium Citrate recommended as one of the best forms you can buy, which is also much cheaper than a chelated Magnesium. This seems like the best and cheapest choice on paper, however there are a lot of reports of people not being able to handle this form due to it being absorbed and increasing water in the intestines. With a chelated form, this will not be an issue. When it comes to value, this supplement may seem expensive at first, but I would say it’s worth it if you’re taking it for a good reason. For one, your body can actually use the Magnesium unlike in the cheap supplements, so you’re not wasting money in that regard. Also, if you buy the larger 240 tablet bottle, it’s better value than repurchasing the smaller bottle more frequently. Personally, I have been taking one tablet for a boost in the evening to catch up on any Magnesium I have missed throughout the day, and it works for that bit of extra relaxation closer to bed time.Overall, this is a well-made supplement with nothing to complain about (other than the larger size which some people dislike). Highly recommended.

Stopped my leg cramps
I started suffering intense leg cramps during the night in my third trimester. After supplementing two of these morning and night they stopped that night. I break them in two to swallow but I am so thankful I tried them. Well worth it!!

Good quality, verifiable result
I have suffered from restless legs at night for years, which was a complete nightmare. I tried lots of things, but nothing worked. I tried taking these at night before bed and the restless legs stopped almost immediately. That was 2 years ago and the only time they came back was during the week or so I stopped taking these, and went again as soon as I resumed. Can’t say better than that
