I originally ordered a small because I’m 116 lbs and that’s in the small range but it was so small and tight I could barely get it on. Once it was on I could barely breathe! So I exchanged it for a medium and it fits so much better and is comfortable to wear all day. I’ve had 2 kids and I have abdominal separation so I have a belly pouch even though I’m very skinny. This helps a lot to flatten down my belly and give me a slim figure. The thighs are a little loose and roll a little with tight pants but I roll them down and it’s no big deal. So I think the weight ranges are just a suggestion and it’s more about your body type. I’m small and skinny but my belly makes me more of a medium.

I needed some sort of shape wear for a body-con dress that I chose for a holiday party. Mainly I wanted coverage for hips and tummy areas. Never having worn shape wear before, I ordered this brand along with some other less expensive brands to try. This is my top contender for quality and comfort. I like the silicone strip that is on the interior top of the waistband. It helps it stay in place and I did not find it to be irritating on my skin at all. I did not have trouble with roll down of the waistband. It is a super high rise. I am 5’8 1/2” tall with a long torso, and it easily comes up to end just under my bra line. I wanted to be able to wear my own bra of choice, so purposely ordered this style that allowed that, but still covered my entire torso. The shorts did not roll up on me either. I am 155 lbs and ordered a size medium. Upon taking it out of the package I was sure there was no way I could squeeze into it, but had no problem as the stretch is insane. Compression is perfect, and somewhat surprising given how thin the fabric is.

I'm 5'6" and 148 lbs. Bought size medium. When I pull these up they stop about the bottom half of my bra. Which of course isn't an ideal place for them to end. So I push them under the bra so they don't flatten out the girls and then as I move around they begin to roll roll roll down my torso which leaves lump under my clothing when the whole purpose of wearing them is to eliminate lumps lol. Also where it rolls down and stops feels like a boa constrictor is squeezing the breath and life out of me. I could not wait to take this off!!! Definitely going back. I'm sad because prior to moving and it rolling down and suffocating me, it actually gave my body a very smoothed out look. Oh well. Story of my life with trying to order clothes on line lol. Not sure how anyone could make this work short of borrowing some suspenders from the local farmer....

So I ordered without really paying attention to details. Keep in mind that although the some people say it rolls, it really depends on how you apply it! I'm 5'5 147lbs. I'm not chubs, slimmer side BUT with a tummy apparently..I wish it was gone but oh well. Now I got a medium..the torso part goes all the way to my under boobs. I haven't tried making it go higher. But I can say my thighs and stomach feel tighter. It also lifts your butt, which is a plus! Give it a try. You can't tell you're wearing it and it doesn't cause pain when breathing. Cons: it's tight, not as tight from the stomach as I would like. I did read some reviewers left this comment as well. It doesn't hurt from the torso as others do. The glue type of plastic in the back line helps it adhere to your skin so it doesn't roll. Pros: I thought the material would be thicker. But nope, they feel like nylons! A bit tighter than nylons. Be careful when pulling it, you can rip it. I haven't ripped mine so we're good. BIGGEST Q&A: What the heck is the bottom opening for? It is too overlapping and small to be used for the restroom..unless you're a male, don't even think about it because I'm sure you're bound to get your hands dirty..so -1 for that!

This is a review that's going to end up being part "I love you Reviva lotion!" love letter. Because I found myself thinking yesterday as I was at church, "Man, I sure am glad thankful my stomach skin has gotten so much better I don't feel like I need to wear spanx with every dress." Because, I hate feeling constricted, and these naturally feel that way. So I bought these because my daughter's pregnancy many years back had a few things go wrong near the end, and I ended up with a ton of left over skin. But she was worth it, and I would do it all again to have her in our family. But the skin has been an ongoing problem for a number of years, a problem I initially felt looked better with an extra 30 pounds or so. Until I got told it was medically in my best interest to get the healthiest weight I could get to. And then, there we were again, me and this skin problem. It left a bit of a pooch at the bottom of my tummy that made me self conscious. So, I've had a couple of pairs of spanx. Both had problems. This pair, which I bought from Amazon, ripped just above the groin area as I was putting it on the second time. and the rip started a run. It stayed stable enough that I was able to use it still when I felt the occasion called for it, but that's gotten less and less. Because my skin issues have improved enough that I only wear these if I'm going to have an underwear line show because of the type of dress fabric I'm wearing. I don't go commando, so...these are useful for that. But I found how quickly these ripped to be distressing given that I definitely got the appropriate size for my measurements and weight. If the rip had gotten worse and I wasn't able to use them more then a couple of times, I would have one starred this. But I usually wear a dress once a month that calls for no underwear lines and these have held up for over a year despite the rip, but it makes me nervous and it shouldn't have happened so quickly. The first pair I bought of these had seems unravelling in the legs, because these come with an upper leg seam of sorts because of how they are constructed. So quality in my experience, has been more of an issue then I would want for something I paid this amount of money for. Which is why I am so thankful that Reviva lotions has a product that helped me out so much that these are only an occasional underwear line solver for me, and honestly, my fitness regimen has helped out with that also, but yah. I would love to see these made better, because I know what it's like to feel like you need this with every dress, and it's super disappointing when you pay this kind of money and it breaks down so quickly.

I already own a full body Spanx shape wear with straps that I absolutely LOVE but, was really in need of something for a strapless dress. I was skeptical upon buying this item bcuz I’ve owned others in the past that CONSTANTLY roll! I read the reviews which were mixed so I went ahead & bought it, worst case I could send it back. To my surprise it really didn’t roll too bad, I had to pull it up a few times but it’s nothing like the others I’ve tried. SO happy I found a shape wear option for strapless outfits. It smooths everything out & makes you feel like you have the perfect hourglass & it’s so comfortable. Not too tight around thick thighs which I LOVE bcuz most products like this are too snug & unforgiving on the thighs. Now, I wear things I never used to for fear of the pudge, love handles, back rolls & saddlebags ruining my look - no more tho! I love the little hole in the crotch area to make using the bathroom SO much easier! 👍 So, if ur on the fence & not sure u want to splurge on something like this - JUST DO IT - you’ll wish u had sooner. Mothers, do your daughters a favor & educate them on the magic of shape wear (I did) bcuz I wish my mom had. And, I honestly don’t hate my curves quite so much anymore, they just needed some “guidance”. 😉 HUGE fan of shape wear now & plan to buy even more styles. Oh you gotta get one! I researched this and similar competitors alot before I bought it and its Better than expected results! Its light material , not uncomfortable at all , even on super hot days, and most importantly, it makes a big difference. For me , Its the difference of wearing a tight fitting dress or the dreaded"-will wear it After I lose weight " lie that we tell ourselves! The beige color is very light which I love it with my very fair skin tone. I think this color will work with everything, no need to have multiple shades. It's a must have! I wear it only with dresses and it does much better than slimming slips that I have purchased. It comes up very high to the bra line to slim all that. It will slightly roll down just a bit, but still overall has great staying power. Someone reviewed that this is like panty hose and will easily tear- that is not so. These are much more durable but soft and you can breathe normally in them. I dont even know I'm wearing it, but I look alot better with it. Hey Spanx--- dont discontinue this style! My skinny dresses need you !!

I had heard so much rave about this brand and I was highly disappointed! The top of it is about 3/4 of an inch. It rolls down to your natural waist as soon as you put it on! This creates a worse muffin top than having on nothing. It should be a strong, stiff elastic from about 2 inches below the natural waist to the top. I have bike shorts I bought at a major big box discount retailer that fit better! There is no compression in the legs at all. In fact, it’s loose at the bottom! I was purchasing this to help hold up my aging skin on an upcoming trip to a theme park. After a whole day of walking, where it collects just above my knees is very uncomfortable. If I had been looking to smooth my shape, it actually made my shape look WORSE! I bought a M and my measurements are 31 W, 39 H and 145 lbs. I might have simply tried a smaller size, but that would have stopped the top from rolling.
