This may be remedied by a little lubrication of the seal, but I have not attempted that. The one drawback is that the metal bar the hinge is on is not fully encased in the housing plastic (see photo). As a result, it often comes out of its guide, but the plastic nubs have not broken, and it is replaced with a satisfying, positive click. Well worth it for the savings and functionality in my opinion. Review: Great value option hope it lasts - Case looks really good. Except the top hinge looks like it's built weak and might fail in time. But will likely get the job done if the case isn't opened and closed a whole lot.
