They are glass so you must take care not to drop them on a hard surface. They are sturdy though and very pretty. I use them in the house plants I have on my screened porch. It is very hot here in South Carolina and I would water at least once a day Or more before I got the bulbs. Now they can go up to 4 or 5 days without refilling the bulbs, depending on the soil and how much sun they are getting. My large Inside peace lily bulb only needs to be refilled once a week or more. The only downside I see is the ends get filled with dirt sometimes and It is hard to remove. I use a toothpick to get it out.

I have become a proud parent to 9 plants. I recently took a 9 day trip and was not sure what to do about the plants; my would be sitter was leaving for the same period. I remember hearing about these plant globes and started researching here on Amazon. After searching, reading and comparing I decided on this brand. I purchased the regular and jumbo. They were not the cheapest but I felt they would be durable. I was correct. The glass if fairly solid and the design is like a work of art. Upon my return home my plants were doing great - I promise you they were more healthy than when I was watering them myself. My basil finally grew. :) I 100% recommend these.

Beautiful concept. Beautiful colors. Great shipping bad package protection. 1 bulb had crack due to very thin styrofoam protection. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

I would give 5 stars except like some other reviews I had a broke bulb right out of the box. It was packaged well, but a middle section is broken. The rest appear sturdy. I tried to see if this one would still work even if broken, but it just leaked the water right out. I didn’t want to return it because I wanted to start using the other three and there isn’t an option to just send the broken one back and get a replacement!!!

When the sun shines through the colored glass globes it makes me smile. They're very pretty. Easy to fill with enough water to be efficient. They're not paper thin and fragile but seem to be sturdy enough to feel comfortable using. One of mine cracked but foolish me - used it outside and the temperature got too low. I would recommend!

I have a brown thumb. It's very tough keeping plants alive when you are as bad as I am. Since I went away for two weeks, I bought these as a hail mary solution to keep plants alive and it worked so well, I am now using them full time. My plants are thriving, which has never happened! They are attractive as well. The globes are really big and the tube is wide enough to easily fill. End gets dirt in it, so when it's time to refill I used kabob skewers to loosen the dirt and then rinsed. No issues. Great product but they are glass so handle carefully.

They do what they are supposed to. Since getting them my plants have grown and I don't forget to water them.
