I purchased a switch mounting plate from a hardware store for a 1.95 and screwed that plate in the wall of my garage, then used 3m mounting tape on the charger to mount the charger to the plate. If I ever move I can simply remove the plate from the wall and take it with me. The charger itself seems to work great. It's not going to charge a dead battery or jump start..anything but it does what it's supposed to to which is maintain a fully charged battery. I plug this into my Harley if I'm not going to ride for a few days and when I do get back on it the engine starts like I just installed a new battery. Durability or longevity will be something time will tell but so far this little unit does exactly what it says it will do and at a more than reasonable price.

This is my third FOVAL charger. They are reliable, work well, and keep batteries charged. This one only outputs tw0 amps maximum so if the battery is dead, or close to it, it will take a couple of days to recharge it.

Works great on my Goldwing, Ford Focus and my Buick Envista. Since I drive very little I can keep my batteries full charged

Got this for my 1965 MG Midget. I don't drive it in the winter. This keeps the battery charged through the winter when it sits in the garage.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

It would not charge battery. And I couldn't return it because I saw the light come on and assumed it was charging and threw away the box/ packaging

Buena calidad y servicio

Cargador básico. Solo tiene 3 funciones: 6V, 12V y reparacion. No apto para baterías AGM y de gel en modo de servicio, ya que proporciona más de 16 V durante un tiempo. Dará daño a las baterías AGM y de gel. En resumen: el cargador solo es apto para baterías de electrolito con orificios de apertura.

Me gustó que el cargador viene en un tamaño muy cómodo y sus indicadores te dicen cuando ha terminado la carga, sin embargo, solo llevan la carga a 12.2 v y se detiene. En mi caso, esa carga ha sido suficiente para encender mi auto, solo que tomó tres periodos de carga de casi 10 horas cada uno (restricción de la batería de mi auto que limita el tiempo de carga).
