Hate-to-love, slow-burn romance + Hollywood love story + character development + steamy scenes + HEA
The story starts with Grace who works as a script supervisor in film industry making a judgemental comment about the Hollywood star Scott, a former drug addict who has lost his career and looking for a comeback. Scott is trying to move forward from his past and also has to deal lot of things. And Grace is definitely not looking for a relationship with a Hollywood bad boy again. But the fate has other ideas...I like how the author hasn't rushed into the relationship and developed the characters and story in a correct pace. What just started as a hatred relationship stepped into a cautious friendship, and slowly into l.o.v.e. This is such a slow burn romance and you'll feel so much angsty as the story travels. The characters are very likeable. My favorite character has to be Scott. He wants to come out of the addiction and deal with his insecurities. He isn't good at communication. He is a flawed hero.Usually the female characters will have so many histories and try to come out of it and succeeds with a help of Prince charming. But here Grace helps in Scott's addiction recovery process and give them both a happily ever after.Author has addressed important subjects in the book and you also get an insight of a film set and the process behind it. It's such a beautiful story. It's romance(all my favorite tropes -> hate-to-love, slow-burn) + Hollywood love story + character development + steamy scenes + HEA.When I started this book, I didn't know it's a series but you can also read this as a standalone book. That's a plus. Overall an enjoyable read.

Another cracker from Susannah Nix!
Seriously guys, you need to read Susannah Nix! The Chemistry Lesson's series is so good (run, get these books, especially if you like smart romance) and now the Starstruck Series is shaping up to be just as good. Although set in the same world Fallen Star shows a different side of Hollywood to Rising Star and is probably a bit more emotional than the first tale. This story ends in such a way that there totally could be a sequel (although it is a definitive ending) and I wonder would the author consider continuing their story maybe in a novella? I was very invested in Scott's redemption and it's always a good sign when I'm still thinking about a character long after I've finished the book. Looking forward to more of Susannah Nix hopefully in the near future!

After A Good Start, Sadly Disappointed
I expect better from Susannah Nix. My disappointment all the deeper because I have enjoyed many of her previous books. It started so well and appeared to my ignorant eyes a more realistic depiction of life in Hollywood than most books but by half way through I was struggling. I didn't finish it.

Great read
This in only the second Susannah Nix book I have read, I one-clicked it as I had really enjoyed her chemistry lessons book and I wasn't disappointed this time either. Grace and Scott were great characters and I liked both. The banter between them was very well written and I LOL'D quite a few times at those dad joke's.

Good!
Both main characters made a bad first impression on each other, but it seems that they both find each other quite attractive. As cute jokes & funny comments add up, they end up becoming friends & more... This was quite a nice story to read... It seemed realistic & romantic, as well.

Amazing
This book was an amazing rollercoaster ride. It touched on serious issues and had all the drama and sexiness I crave. A great read all around.
