Washes and dries nicely with minimal shedding and minimal shrinkage (cold water wash, low dryer heat). I have a top loading washer with an agitator and did not have any problems with the blanket tangling, as reported by one buyer. Blanket feels good against skin. Also, it’s cotton so it breathes whereas synthetic blankets don’t breathe and hold in heat and make you sweat.
