This is great when you have a legal conversation and need to take confidential notes and not lave a paper copy. As a Canon Lawyer I must have this ability to be effective and confidential.

I've had one of these for more than 10 years when I found one at a bookstore. It's become my main sticky-note replacement for those 10 years of abuse, travel, boredom in meetings, and having different mounting methods in my notebooks. I've NOT been gentle to mine and it has still lasted this last decade! But, as you can see, the bleeding from the injuries is just getting so bad that I finally got replacements.They're great for the workplace where dry-erase boards get mucky, your marker dies, or you don't want to take the time to erase it.It's not just a "kid" item. I work in a place where you can't just bring your laptop or cell phone with you everywhere, and I hate using a whole page of a notebook for quick notes that I only need to remember long enough to type them up. So this is essential for me.---Which Item to get:I got one of the same older type, and one of the "newer" models, to compare them to each other, and I would definitely recommend the newer model. It's the one with built-in magnets and a stylus holder. It's much thinner and though the curve makes it seem less "tablet" like, it's still professional looking.The thing I love about this board is that it fits in A5-sized notebooks. I just get some sticky magnet and it will mount perfectly. This will outlast my binder if it lasts me another 10 years!---Battery Life:The battery on my old one was never changed. It lasted daily use and multiple erases and I still don't need to replace it. It's been on planes, in hot cars, squished in my notebook and I still never worried about it.---Durability:It's so thin yet durable that I can bring JUST this with me wherever I may need a notebook and I'm not afraid of damaging it or scratching it, but just to prevent accidental marks from travel I would get some sort of cover. The flat face of this one makes it so I can put it on to a photocopier and scan up my notes to keep them forever.---Quality Control:I've now had three of these; the new ones have no bleeding, and the batteries work. They're "brighter" than my old one as well. No complaints.---Overall:If you need a replacement for stacks and stacks of sticky notes that get lost or don't stick, this is so cheap yet functional in the workplace that it's been indispensable. If people are buying them for their kids, that also shows their durability and usefulness.

Love this, so much better than dry erase. The only drawbacks are having to erase entire board only option and it's not bright like dry erase but works great for my use

My 4 yo daughter loves this thing! She practices writing her letters and asks how to spell different words on it. Great to have at a restaurant or waiting room to keep a preschooler entertained. Love that this one has a magnet on the back so I can stick on the fridge as a grocery list if needed! One star off because I have smaller versions of these that seem brighter to me - I wish this was the same.

Nice addition to my fridge door. During the week I am getting the todos added and the weekend will be the time to scratch them out.The only parts that needs correction are the magnets - they are too weak. I needed to add some of my own to keep them sticking to the door.

We keep this on our frig for our grocery list. Everyone in the family adds as things are needed. We like it better than a wipe of board because no marker that needs to be replaced is involved. Instead an easy to use stylus is used. The size is just right and with the touch of a button, it is erased and ready to go again.

Great product and a big help in communication.

Works ok, though it's not actually any better than the $15 knock-offs, and actually the lines on knock-offs are brighter and easier to read. I feel like I got suckered in by the company's claim that imitators aren't as good; the reverse is true.
