This has been a great addition to our battle maps. We can draw on the sheets and replace them as needed. Especially if we forget to erase the map from a week ago. And we can prepare 3 maps ahead of time and switch them out as needed. Very happy with our PVC clear sheets.

This product is perfect for any style. DND to miniatures.I purchased this for a miniatures game called Mage Knight. It allows me to draw mountains and terrain over any hexmap! No need to use rulers to measure for this game anymore. I love it!

I agree with most of the positive comments people make about this mat. It is well made and very useful.I only have two negatives, one small and one fairly large. The small one is that the clear overlay was not cut the same size as the map itself. It hangs over about a 1/4" on each side, and almost a full inch top and bottom.The bigger issue is that the overlay sticks to laser printed maps. I can't say how it works with commercially printed maps or those printed on an inkjet printer. I print mine on a color laser printer, but after leaving a map sheet in this just overnight you have to peel it out and it leaves a ghost of the image on the overlay. The first time I used this, I left the maps in it and rolled it up to store it between sessions. When I opened it up again a couple weeks later, the maps were stuck on so badly that I had to rip them loose and scrub the plastic to completely remove the paper, then literally scrape the surface with a knife to get the image off the overlay.It's still usable, and I like it enough that I will probably buy the spare overlays they sell to replace my scuffed and scraped one eventually, but I wish I had known prior to buying it about this issue with laser printed documents. If that's what you use. beware.

I thought this was a gaming accessory called a grid mat. It is not. It is an accessory to a gaming accessory. It is simply 3 transparent films. I am very disappointed.

Good quality for protecting maps, and can see through to the map without being too opaque. Unfortunately there was no grid on the cover like I wanted.

I print custom maps and this is perfect to lay over and write on for spell effects or whatever.

Exactly what you expect. Good for multiple maps for tabletop games. Little pricey, but definitely will work well and clean just as well.
