I like these more than any other!
These metallic silver & gold are great! fine lined and have a great laydown and are visible when I write. They have a nice fine metallic that stand out for my bible art! and underlining or side bars & brackets! Will stick to this brand. I really love these! p.s. Was not thrilled with the white though. Use a light hand with the white ones!

All dried up
The ink is all dried up in every pen.

1/3 of the pens don't work - the gold ink
The pens are thinner than standard sized ink pens, and therefore not very comfortable in the hand. I tested these pens on black mixed media paper, and I was not impressed with the quality of the inks at all.The white ink is not very opaque. I needed to go over the lines multiple times to get an opaque result, but it did happen eventually. Same type of ink that's in a Sakura Gelly Roll pen, but I can get results in one pass with the Gelly Rolls than multiple passes with this pens. The gold pens stopped working immediately. And I mean within the first minute of use. This happened with all four gold pens. I have yet to get them to work again. I've scribbled them all for a few minutes each and the ink does not flow. I can't tell if the ink is too thick to come out of the roller ball or what. The silver pens write the best of the lot. Maybe it's the reflective quality of the metallic, but it shows up the best on the sample black paper I used. Better than the white ink pens. No problems with ink flow.Basically these are inexpensive pens and if you choose to purchase, it will be a toss up if the gold ink works. Personally, I will be throwing out the gold pens and finding something better.

Pens Pack a Color Punch
Tested these on AstroBrights Cardstock - Eclipse Black paper (which I should mention not sponsored). Took a min to get writing, but once they did, the output is fantastic! Great value for a box of 12. Will moss definitely order again.

I love these! But not as good as they were.
UPDATE: Bought a second set of these and, although I still love to write with them, I noticed a significant decrease in quality. The pen caps are now hard to remove, and one broke from just trying to pull it off normally. That pen wouldn't write, either. The other issue is that the ink levels have significantly decreased. Not nearly as much ink as the first set I bought has. Used to be 5 stars, now 4.I love these pens, especially for writing letters on dark paper. It's so hard to find fine-point metallic pens, even more so ones that work well.I have written a lot with these. Every now and then I have ink flow issues, but not enough to be annoying. In one pen, there seems to be air in between pockets of ink.The good thing about this set is that even if one pen gets troublesome, there are backups. The fact that ink levels are clearly visible is nice, too.

Perfect for journaling on black paper
These are fantastic pens. They’re perfect for my Archer &Olive “Black Out” journal. The fine point makes it great for basic writing, while the tip writes smoothly across the paper and the ink rarely skips. As for the skipping, that only happens to me when I write too fast. This is a struggle for me personally, as I have difficulty with patience in this area. But, if you write at a steady, slow pace, it comes out beautifully and you can even sketch/draw things, which is an issue with super fine point pens; in my experience. You can see the silver and gold ink on basic white paper, but it is rather light. The white ink, not so much. If you retrace over your writing or sketch, it will be less translucent.Best to stick with dark paper.(I have only tested mine on black and standard journal papers from Olive & Archer)I really like these pens and definitely recommend them. The price is.... fair. But for so little ink, I feel they should be no more than $9All that said, I’m ordering more because I’m very pleased with these pens and they are PERFECT for journaling on black paper. That’s my favorite journaling style.BLACK PAPER😊😉

None of the gold works
I have to leave the pens point down for several hours before able to write with them. When laid horizontally did a day, ink will not come out.Upon writing, none of the gold works. Whites and silvers are ok. White ink does not have consistent colors but at least they work. Silver is the best with uniformed colors and smooth feeling. Some caps do not close completely.I’m disappointed but outside my return window so I’ll deal with them. Have to throw away the golds since they are useless.

It's a maybe
I tested all pens on dark blue paper. Two pens arrived with lids off and subsequently were dried out. During the testing I found two didn't work, four were hit and miss. Package contained 12 pens, of which six actually worked.Have since used functioning pens and they work fine. Come to your own conclusions.
