It's quite thin, which I didn't want. It's lighter than the picture, which I didn't want. I brought a L/XL which according to the size chart should fit 18/20. This is NOT the case. I'm fat, there's no way around it. This robe doesn't close at the front around where my lady garden is, which means I cannot use this in the morning to open the door to the postman or else he will be scared into therapy.I'm not happy, BUT I'm tired of trying to find a decent robe. If M&S still did their towelling robes from about 4 years ago I'd buy that again. It was actually thick, soft, and true to size.
