Mcoplus EF-EOS R Electronic Auto Focus Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Canon EOS R Camera Body

Check the screws
Upon receiving the adapter I attempted to install it on a Canon RP. The adapter would not rotate into position on the camera. After several attempts, I inspected the adapter and found that one of the screws that should have been recessed below the mounting surface was instead above it. I tightened the screw and the adapter worked as designed with both a Canon and non-Canon lens. My advice: if the adapter does not rotate into position, check the screws for one that has not been tightened. Then you can decide whether you can remedy the problem yourself or simply return the adapter. Do not attempt to force the adapter on the camera -- if it is working properly, it doesn't require much force to rotate it into position.

Works great on R and RP
This adapter works great on my R and RP. I have a Canon adapter for one, and decided to get a second adapter. This one works just as well as the Canon version at a great price.

Seems to work as good as the Canon OEM
I purchased in addition to my already used adapter. I didn't want to be changing adapters as I multiple EF lens to use on my RF Canon camera. I also didn't want to pay the extra price if it wasn't necessary. As far as I can tell this functions as well as the Canon OEM version. Autofocus works just as well and I can't tell any difference.

Good product overall
I bought this because OEM adapter from Canon is out of stock, but surprisingly it's a good product. No issue so far on the R6 body. Autofocus is quick and accurate.

Works just as well as the more expensive Canon brand
This works just as described. My Canon adapter was backorder for so long that I couldn't use my new camera with my current lenses without it. Found this less expensive alternative and very happy I did.

Updated, user error... not product issue.
So, I am updating my review. I ended up getting the canon brand adapter and still had the same vignetting effect with my EF lens. I discovered that because I was using a Sigma Lens and not a Canon lens, my camera wasn’t automatically changing the cropping setting to prevent the vignetting. I had to go in and manually change that setting and then it worked fine.

Surprisingly great!
I was concerned with the fit but it’s actually perfect. Works very well especially since the canon version was/is always out of stock.

A Great Budget Alternative To Canon-Brand Adapters
Very solid and well-made. Works like a charm on my EOS RP. Communicates clearly with the camera body. Only downside is autofocus is a bit slow.
