STAR BRITEE-Z On E-Z Off Boat Bottom Hull Cleaner, 32 oz

This is our 2nd year of using this product to clean the hull of our boat after boating season. It does the job!!! Use caution when using - it's strong stuff. We wear gloves & protective eye wear when using it. Plus we put cardboard under our boat while cleaning because if any of this stuff drips onto our garage floor or driveway, it leaves white marks where the chemicals in it have hit it. We'd rather have it drip on cardboard we can throw away than eat away our concrete garage/driveway! This stuff cleaned all of the gunk from our lake like it was nothing. We tried other products before finding out about this one. Now we'll always use this product first!

All I have to say is that this is wicked stuff! Takes the brown stains right off in front of your eyes! With that said, it also burns your eyes and skin, so be careful. I read the reviews before buying, and what everyone says is true… Let it sit for a couple minutes and it removes everything, make sure you are well protected if you decide to use a spray bottle, put cardboard under your boat before application to protect your floor/driveway, and rinse your trailer thoroughly...then rinse it again. Used on an 18ft boat and had a fair amount left over.

use appropriate hand and face coverings this stuff is strong. Works great read the instructions and warnings it cut right thru the slime build up.

Walmart used to sell this product. They switched to a biodegradable alternative. I tried it but found that while it worked ok there was still a fair amount of scrubbing.I ordered EZ ON/OFF through Amazon. This stuff is simply the best at the kind of cleaning I am doing. This is to remove marine growth. I have a dark, spidery, organic growth across the bottom of my boat. It was moored in a lake for the summer. In fact, it the boat is 20 years old and I don't believe the bottom has ever been cleaned. I put this product in a spray bottle and heavily dose the area I am working on. After 5 to 8 minutes or so I wipe it off. Really incredible. My pressure washer didn't leave a dent and this stuff makes it wipe off.With that said, it doesn't seem to clean stains. For instance, I can still see the faint brownish water line... Compared to what was there this is nothing. But I don't think this is the cleaner for that.One last thing. This is an acid. You MUST wear gloves. I got it on my arms like a knucklehead and, yes, surprise! It burns like heck. I would urge you to heed the warnings. That may scare you off. But for me, I needed something heavy duty and this is it.

I didn’t think my very old, very dirty boat would clean up but it did! This was very easy to use following the directions and wearing hand and eye protection.

I tried every other product I could find, including walmart hull cleaner, Bar Keepers Friend, power washing, etc.Once I found Star Brite, I was done- it worked incredibly fast and easily..not much scrubbing.A couple notes:The directions recommended using a natural bristle brush-plan on that being a one use brush- the bristles fell off 2/3 thru the cleaning.I used a spray bottle mid way thru as I could get at more of the boat with it.Rinse, rinse, and rinse some more...this contains hydrochloride acid.... You do not want it to eat at the trailer it is dripping on.I used the 32oz for my 18ft boat. None left.

This is a five star product when it comes to cleaning the stains that occur when a boat sits in the water. It cleans very well and with little effort. I rated it four stars because of the danger in using the product. It is a fairly strong acid and care must be taken to not let it come in contact with your skin, eyes and some metals. The recommended method to apply this product is with a brush, but you have to work gently to prevent the liquid from splattering from the bristles. I used a pressure washer to clean the heavy growth from the bottom before using EZ-ON EZ-OFF. I let the boat dry off, then used a brush to wet the bottom with the cleaner, and very gently scrub the stains away. It doesn't take much effort at all and scrub may be too strong of a term for the process. Within an hour, my 25 ft boat bottom looked like new. I'm impressed with how well it works especially as compared to Slimy Grimy and some other bottom cleaners.

Cleans boat very easily put it in a spray bottle and use a boat brush results are outstanding I have used this product for 30 years

Easy to apply. Scrub it on with a paint brush and brush until the stain turns liquid. Wash it off and done. Make sure you wear old clothes and rubber gloves.

Worked well but too expensive. I will buy a cleaner at the local hardware store for 1/2 the price and twice the size. Found this out after having a discussion with a friend.
