This device snaps on easily to an average size cane. Flip it open and you can hang your cane from a table or chair. Pick ithe cane up and the panel springs back to the side of the cane effortlessly. I have bought several. Highly recommended.

My friend uses a cane. We go to out to dinner with them weekly. Her cane falls constantly and we are forever picking it up for her. We saw someone using this item while on vacation in Ireland. He told me he'd purchased it on Amazon. I ordered it the minute we got home and gave it to her right away. It works great and we are no longer picking her cane up all evening! Doesn't work well on curved table edges, but it is well worth it and so reasonably priced. Highly recommend it.

I have used this product before on a previous cane. First, it is light weight and folds down neatly against the cane itself so it does not get in the way. Secondly, it works quite well on any surface that drops down at right angle like the edge of most tables but does not do as well if the edge is rounded. I missed it enough when using my new cane that I got another one for my new cane so I would not have to switch this back and forth. In order to be usable for all the possible scenarios we encounter, a cane would also need a wrist strap for when you need both hands to open your purse and no place to hang your cane etc....

Snapped on easily, but did not hold the cane on the table. It was not stable and the cane kept rocking/falling. Returned it.

It's kinda ugly, the big reflector is unattractive, my cane is good looking, this looks so tacky. I don't know how well it works.

I have a walking stick and unfortunately it didn't fit. Haven't been able to find one that does. Credit was issued to me
