She along with JB Havens have written a great book. This book had me from to start. It had me laughing and crying and hot too! Both of the main characters (I can’t call them H and h because they both are central to this book) had been through such tragedies, it’s a wonder they were sane. Meg is running. Her husband died after suffering from cancer. She then lost the baby she was carrying. She ended up in Green Springs, Mississippi in a small motel run by “Nana”. Her car breaks down and she is forced to stay. Nana’s grandson, Drew, is all to willing to help to rude foul mouthed woman out. He recognizes a kindred spirit. He too has lost...his girlfriend, his leg, his football scholarship and his parents. These two have fun together but Meg has more grieving to do. Meg is working through losing someone very special to her. She is fighting her own personal turmoil and she takes off to see the world. After having some car issues, she lands herself in a small town and meets Drew.Drew had his life planned out for him. That changed in a matter of seconds with losing the things that mattered most to him. Deep in his depression and despair, he meets Meg.Both are suffering from some events that changed their lives.Both, Drew and Meg, are clawing their way out of their depression. Both of them are fighting their own personal demons. While Meg loves to run when things get too much, Drew tries to be there for her and help her through her demons while fighting his own.I loved everything about this book!!
