SHARPIERetractable Permanent Markers, Fine Point, Black, 3 Count

I use these markers for work and have trouble opening caps due to carpel tunnel. The retractable cap is great- just like using a clicker pen. It does seem as if the ink is running out a little sooner than expected but overall I still like using these because it's easier for me with my hands. The 3 pack was a good price.

they are much better that the old style ones where you have to remove and replace the cap to use..plus those ones dry out fast....i like the new retractable ones much better...

I was initially surprised that a first grader school supply list included a black sharpie. Turns out they use it quite often, and I just need to adjust to my child now wielding a permanent marker . Quite a big leap from crayola products. HahaI have plenty of sharpies at home, and we practiced removing and replacing the cap. At least every other attempt she would mark her hands with just the process of uncapping. So, picked up these retractable options and they work like a dream. No more unnecessary accidental but quite permanent markings. No more lost caps. And most of it, long lasting. Works just as brand new, and she’s been using almost daily since school started.

These are the cats meow of sharpies. Being retractable is the key. We keep a supply of these on hand at all times. I purchased this pack to accompany a gift of red drink cups and holder, but I think we should all have a supply of these. Once you use these, you won't go back.

I bought these to use on labels of food stored in the freezer because I needed something that wouldn't smear and fade, which makes for lots of guess work as to what's in a package. I got the retractable marker because I figured it would have less chance of drying out over time. So far so good, although it hasn't been but a month or so since my purchase. That's why I only gave it 3 stars for longevity. If there was a rating that said "too soon to tell," I'd have selected that. The marker is, indeed permanent--no smudgy frozen food labels. The only thing that could be better is if the point were a bit finer. Although this is supposed to be "fine point," to me it seems more like medium point. But that's a small matter really.

These retractable colored Sharpies are exactly what we needed for our drawing obsessed teenager. The only issue was that one of the markers (the orange), came defective: the retractable tip was stuck & wouldn’t extract the tip. We tried to repair, but it kept repeating & ultimately damaged the felt tip, so we had to eliminate it. Other than that issue, which is a first for us with any Sharpie item, they’re pretty great markers.

I do a lot with plants in the greenhouse and do writing on plant markers. The retractable tip is great, as I don’t have to keep putting the cap on to keep the marker from drying out. Haven’t used my markers for plant labels outside, so not sure how the ink would hold up. I would definitely recommend these markers!

it's a bout having Sharpies, they are simply the best. You do know they are meant to stay like a print. Be careful as they go thru your sheet. You need to know how to handle Sharpies. Artist like them a lot, also as shipping... DO NOT COLOUR YOUR SKIN, practically only time will help remove it.

I love the retractable sharpie. I always lose the cap on the regular ones. These are a great idea. I only wish that the tip stuck out further. I use these for work all of the time to mark spots on walls where I'm going to drill. Often times, whatever template I am using to mark with is thicker than the length of the tip on the sharpie, so it won't reach. The non retractable sharpies are the same.
