Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four Stars Flexible Slicing Knife, 10-inch, Black/Stainless Steel

I bought this same type of knife 45 years ago and the quality is the same today.

This knife is worth every penny that it costs. If I would have bought good knives like this to begin with, it would have been cheaper than all of the failures I have bought in the meantime. Excellent quality. I now have a complete set of about 20 knives. I love them.

Superb carving knife. Attractive, durable, and holds an edge.I purchased to replace the one I had but got misplaced.

This is a great knife for the money ... qualtiy and comfort! It was a replacement for one I broke from the set ... I snapped the blade in half trying to chisel ice off the scupper on my deck. Expensive lesson ... keep the knives in the kitchen and use them for what they're intended to be used for.

I had doubts about buying a knife used on amazon. It was claimed acceptable and that sounded misleading compared to the actual product. I used expedited shipping and it arrived very quickly which was a plus. The knife did not even have an edge on it nonetheless any wear and tear on the blade. It looked and was practically brand new. Once i got an edge on the knife it was amazing, I was not disappointed. I used it on a prime rib which i was able to get paper thin slices out of, and was what i exactly wanted it for. I currently have knives from the four star 2 , pro s, and now the four star, none which have ever not lived up to their name.

Top quality knives are worth the expense.

Nice so far, but I would expect even a cheap knife to work well when it is first purchased. I based my purchase on research and reviews. It is comfortable to use and feels nicely weighted for it's purpose. It helps to complete a set previously purchased.
