Handy saw for my garage shop!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It is lightweight and has enough power to cut hardwood, the included blades are great for a variety of projects.I have a DeWalt table saw, Hitachi miter saw and a DeWalt 7 1/2 in regular size circular saw but still can see lots of use case for this smaller saw thanks to its weight and size.I'ts just painless to bring it out and have some quick cuts. because sometimes I just don't wanna bring out the bigger ones which may require extra time to setup.BTW, the dust collection is really good and most dust flies out from the right side. If I hookup a vacuum from the dust port I'm sure it can do a better job!

Compact - Easy to Control - Good Cutting Power
I'm beginning to think I have a tool addiction. I already own at least a dozen saws from table saws, circular saws, cordless saws, you name it. But, when undertaking a recent project I found that I could have used a smaller form-factor saw, which I didn't have, which was unacceptable to me. So, time to buy another saw. This Meterk Circular Saw was selling at a decent price and had a discount coupon, and since I already own several Meterk tools that I am pleased with I pulled the trigger and purchased. There were no surprises when the circular saw arrived, it came with all the blades and items shown in the seller's pictures. There were also a couple of button cell batteries included for the laser guide. (Note: No storage case or bag is included.)I installed one of the 60-tooth wood/plastic blades and made a few test cuts, it easily powered through the scrap test boards without hesitation. I found the safety release for the power trigger was easily activated using my thumb, and the trigger is in a comfortable position. The overall ergonomics of the circular saw is pretty good, I find it well balanced and easy to control. The black rubberized handle grip gives me a little more gripping power, so less chance of the saw slipping when in use.Adjusting the cut depth and blade angle is simple (and toolless) using the two winged adjustment knobs. There are metric graduations for the blade depth and blade angle, both are accurate.Note: The saw is loud, but no louder than any of the other motorized saws that I own. (I always wear ear protection.)I found that the laser is also pretty handy as it helps keep your cut on track. I have not used the edge guide yet cut, but it is easy to install and I don't anticipate any problems with it.Overall I am very happy with this compact circular saw. I'm sure I will be putting it though some real tests soon. If I experience any issues I will update this review.

Perfect size for a home
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a mini circular saw without the mini attachments. There is a saw for all your needs. My husband was very impressed with the quantity and selection or blades. Easy to hold and lightweight makes it the ultimate saw for all needs. Takes 5 seconds to lock in a saw and go. And the laser comes with batteries and all. What’s nice is the wrench is attached to the wire so never have to lose it.

Laser doesnt work/ Update
2 stars to the saw and 3 to ergonomic. The laser wont work or turn on whatsoever. Very disappointed when trying to make precision cuts. I check to see if I'm missing something, are there batteries for it to operate but no it runs of the saws power so I got a disfunctional unit. Debating on returning as it is handy and changing the Blades is user friendly. The safety does hinder the saw from making long cuts as a piece of the cut wedges into the safety gaurd. So far it has cut wood and marble easily.Update: I recieved an email from the seller about the laser not working. I was offered a modest discount and a sincere apology which is more than most sellers would have done. The laser is being produced by another manufacturer as well for any potential buyers reading this comment. I would recommend buying from this seller.

Made from good materials.
Saw kit arrived complete. The saw appears well made and assembly was very easy. Pay attention to the proper placement sequence of the cutting blade & spacers when installing the blade. One spacer goes on the spindle first before the blade is put on the spindle, then the remaining spacer goes on. The final spacer has flats on the ID that have to line up with flats on the spindle. Time will tell as to the durability of the saw.

Good little saw
It performs better than I thought it might. I bit heavier on the back end but you're getting a far stronger motor than with the other styles similar to this one. One thing, make sure you turn off the laser as it doesn't function when you pull the switch as others do. This is the one and only drawback I see with this unit. But if you are cutting outside I noticed it wouldn't have mattered. I could barely see the laser line in the direct outdoor sun. Thus the reason you need to make sure it is off before you walk away. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

It’s a handy addition to my big tools
The intent to get a small circular saw was to make quick and dirty cuts fast without getting out the big tool. The cuts are ok, the cut depth and angle can be adjusted. Good thing: it came with 6 blades (3 different types), less good thing: the LR44 batteries for the laser where not included (so couldn’t test the laser accuracy yet). Overall I’m happy with the addition for quick cuts.

How Did I Live Without This?!?
I have a very small shop (half of a 2 car garage), so very limited space for something like a radial arm saw for cutting lengths off long stock or cutting plywood panels. Life is so much easier with this powerful, well built 4" circular saw. I keep it plugged in , stored under my table saw cabinet ready to use. With the built-in laser guide, it's so easy to make straight very clean cuts, even on plywood, with the 24t carbide tipped blade - far better than with my bulky 7" circular saw. Don't even need a clamped on guide now - only a cut line. Just don't forget to switch off the laser!
