Although it is not the exact replacement of K490NC or K495NC cables, it definitely works. It looks like it will live a bit longer than the original (and very nice looking) cable. This cable makes the headphones look ugly and cheap, but I guess it is very close to original cable design of some other AKG headphone models (the models that screw the connector inside the headphone).
