While I've only had this for 2 days now, I must say that after days of agonizing research with dozens of video reviews I'm quite pleased. It suits my needs exactly. My main usage requirement was something that could handle 2 instruments, mic, and midi keys running to my DAW recording to separate tracks. This is my first Audio interface, and sound quality is very good compared to the previous ways I recorded audio to my PC (a lot of individual USB inputs) While less important, I also wanted something that didn't clutter my workspace and this is amazing for that reason. I can leave the types of things I'll rarely unplug like mics, monitors and Midi plugged in through the back and just plug in guitar/bass or whatever as needed in the front. Perfect. Couldn't be happier with my decision really. I have the Focusrite solo and was, well, ok with it. But I decided to buy a new audio interface. In looking around, There were lots of brands that were jumping out. But I went on a hope and a prayer with the M-Audio 192/8. To keep this short, I can truly say, I got my monies worth with this interface. Now I'm ready to record. It works great and was way easy to set up.

When this guy works it's great. The audio capture, the meters, everything fantastic. I think it's one of the best looking interfaces to leave on your desk without having microphone cables shooting out on your desk. The built-in DAC to the headphones was noticeably better than my other DACs. Only issue was that I get crackles and pops when running this thing on Windows 10. Also countless driver issues, so I just couldn't comfortably hold on to this. I ended up returning but if someone has an Intel and it's compatible with that I would definitely recommend this one.

We are a smallish church, new to livestreaming and ordered this product "hoping" that it would work to connect our old existing soundboard to our new livestream software - and it did just that! The connections were easy to make, the instructions for downloading the driver were easy to find, and the quality of the sound is very good for the money. If you are looking for a way to bridge your existing in-house sound system to your livestream software, this could be the answer.

Upgrade from a TASCAM US-144mkII… Same numbers - 192/24 bit both units.. BIG DIFFERENCE in sound quality when using the M-AUDIO 192/8 USB interface Latency numbers are way down.. The additional “outputs” controls are very useful for the home recorder. The Crystal PreAmps are VERY clean.. Would buy again.. just wondering what took me so long.. Thank you Quite a nice build..

I've had a first-gen Scarlett 2i2 since about 2012 and it is STILL more reliable than this device... on Windows 11. because M-Audio are so lax on updating drivers, there are dozens of us (dozens!) who have to struggle with persistent stutters, pops, and crackles that are "pretty noticeable", at worst. no amount of adjusting my sample rate, reinstalling drivers, or other measures of diagnosis have remedied this issue. eventually, I just accepted that this thing will likely never work correctly on a Windows device and have resorted to using it as a secondary interface exclusively with my Macbook, which it somehow works perfectly with. and so, the Scarlett 2i2 is still my daily driver on Windows after... 12 years? as an aside, the USB-C port on the back is suuuuuper loose. not sure if that's a common complaint, but mine's always been pretty loose with most cables. buy this thing used, if you're going to buy it at all. YMMV edit: I've looked at some reviews and it seems to be the case that M-Audio sneakily stated the interface's firmware does not support systems that use AMD CPUs (my desktop runs with a 5950X.) definitely worth avoiding this range if you're running Windows with AMD!

Works well for my setup. I use Ableton and Rekordbox and route the audio into this for my speaker output with my dj setup.

Everything is in perfect. Sound quality, Latency, value for money, connectivity, performance is also good.

Would be better is added decibel meters and metered display in terms of cutoff and top out

I purchased this for amateur home recordiing and like the features so far. mixing the volume between speakers and headphones, being able to plug mics, guitars, etc, it seems to cover all my needs and the sound quality is great. It was instanlty recognized by Garageband/Logic Pro and really doesn't get in the way of your creativity as it's so eay to use.
