A fine lighting fitting, good quality and sturdy, my customer very pleased.
The grommeted cable entry provided is too small in diameter to allow for more than one 1.0mm T & E to enter. All cables including the switch pair and a possible loop out pair must enter the fitting to meet safety requirements. No problem for me as it was easy to use a hole saw to cut out the base plate and allow a 20mm grommet to be inserted. Otherwise an excellent product.

Neat modern ceiling light
Fitting is, of course, with the ususal 2 wires, ignoring the fact that most modern UK houses use the "loop-in" wiring system for lighting circuits. This involves 4 cables and 12 wires! I employed a qulified electrician to install them, and would recommend the same if your'e not sure what you are doing. It lost one star for this. Fitting to the (plasterboard) ceiling is simple if you use hollow wall fittings as there is no real heavy weight to the light. Once wired up screw in the bulbs and just in ease in the diffuser from below. The light looks great and gives a pleasant diffused llight. Matched with the wall fittings they look great. If you are doing detail work in the room, you will need stronger lamp light from, say, a table lamp or standard lamp. I would recommend these fittings.

Nice little unobtrusive light
Bit fiddly to install only because it sits flush to the ceiling. could have been improved with a dipped fitting that would produce the same visual result, but overall great value and great product

The shade is flat to the ceiling and there is a cover which hides the l ightbulbs. Brilliant.
