SPC Performance F-150 Pinion Angle SHIMS

Installed these shims on my 4x4 regular cab F-150 after I removed the blocks and installed Ford performance 1.5” drop shackles. Worked perfect to keep the diff angle correct with the driveshaft. Truck drives like stock at all speeds - no vibrations detected. Would buy these again!Keep in mind if you have a different cab configuration or 2wd, you may have different shim needs to correct pinion angles .Search the forums online for intel.

Installed Ford Performance 2" drop shackles on my 2024 F150 and had a vibration at low speeds. I installed these shims (thick part towards the rear) and the vibration was gone. Installed very easily, just loosen the u-bolts until there is enough clearance to slide the spacers in from the front.

Fits 2013 F-150 4x4 without issue. The observed change in pinion degree was greater than the 2.5 degree specification. I got 4.5 degrees of change. I may drop the axle again, and re-tighten to see if the observed angle changes.

Man this is exactly what I needed. I have a 2015 f150 Lariat crew cab 2 wheel drive. This pinion shim worked perfectly. I bought a set of 2 inch drop shackles and when I installed them I realized there was a bad vibration slowing down, rough shifting down from forth to third. That's where it was felt so around 30 to 40 mph slowing down so annoyed, I put the original shackles back in and poof, problem gone. So I purchased these pinion shims, installed them and of course put the 2 inch drop shackles back in and man, no vibration! These worked perfectly. So if you're having a similar problem, definitely look I to these shims. They will correct the pinion angle. Would highly recommend these if you experience any vibration after installing drop shackles.

I had the chance to install this last weekend and really resolved the cyclic growling. The cyclic growling started after I installed a Bilstein 5100 front shocks and leveled it to 2.5inches height. They said the 2.5 inches level should not affect the pinion angle much and should no worry about it but right after I installed the shocks and 2.5" level, the cyclic growl started at decceleration. I can still hear it even if the radio is on and people noticed. When I measured the angles, there is 3 degrees difference between. Now all I can hear is the humming sound of my 35inch mud tires.It was a pain to remove the two leaf spring center pin bolts where these will be wedged in because they rotate along with the wrench. After a bit of thinking, I used a small pipe wrench and ram the teeth of the wrench in the center pin bolt heads and use a pipe as a leverage. This prevents the bolts to rotate and was able to remove and tighten the center pin bolts. You have to do some trial and error until you succesfully ram the head on the spot.Let's see how these will hold up. Overall worked as advertized.

In my opinion.The notches need to be on the Other end from thin wedge end to the thicker end so can install them the right way to do the process correctly. My thoughts are there Backwards

As advertised...appear to be 4deg.shims.

Fits newer f150s perfectly. Came quickly and worked perfectly for my 2” rear drop on my regular cab short box f150.

Do not use. Dangerous potential of the rear axle shifting from the leaf pack. These shims block the needed ‘dowels’ which hold the axle in position to the leaf pack. Using these shims means all the holding force for lateral movement is held by the u-bolts.I did not use. And am trying to return for a refund.
