just the job
The print and layout of this book are just right.Its on its way to a 10 year old who likes reading and will appreciate that it does not look like a kids book.I ,of course,had a quick read.Its got some football stories I thought I knew but contains extra information.One tale is of the beach ball which scored for Sunderland!Absolutely true as any Newcastle fan can tell you.Also the Bert Trautmann story is fascinating.

Simplistically yet captivatingly told stories that educate & inspire
I run a small nonprofit that promotes sport among lesser privileged girls, and we like books that are easy for kids to read, create a sense of awe through real & relatable drama and without being filled with facts, and normalize sport as a part of life for everyone across gender & economic strata.
