It seals tightly and doesn't leak (very important) but is sometimes tough to unscrew, but that's the trade off.My only complaint is the ring is now becoming slightly corroded. I do wash it in a dishwasher but believe the ring might perform better with higher quality metal. It hasn't affected the taste of drink luckily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard to remove cap, but otherwise awesome *by B***2 on May 12, 2016* I love these lids but I hate unscrewing the cap after a day of use, sometimes it even hurts my wrists... I have both the regular one and this one that has the pop top and they both do this, if you just tighten it less they leak... If you have arthritis or weak wrists I'm not sure I'd recommend this product.
