It takes several minutes each time you put the belt on to do this and re adjust it to the correct length.Once it's on, it does its job well and holds tightly. I have used it on pants no problem. I just used it to connect a condor tactical belt to a 5.11 tactical go bag and wore it through Europe for a week and it was perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐ it looks like "rock climbing gear belt" & inconvenient to put it on. *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2021* Some people might like the look of the buckle/clasp, but for me, I hated this one. It just does not look like a belt and it looks more like some sort of rock climbing gear that is made for a belt. Aesthetically, I just did not like how it looked. Also, whenever you want to put this on, I had to take the belt completely out of the buckle/clasp and go thru the holes and then put all back on again. bit of time consuming and inconvenient.
