To be honest I was a little bit skeptical about the functionality of this vortex mixxer. It just sounds to good to be true with a reasonable price. I am the kind of person who would read all of the one-star comments before purchasing to find out if it has a legit common problem. In this case the majority of those one-star comments were complaining on leaking, bad design and made with flimsy material. Bottom line, “A mixer that only works in theory and doesn’t last long”. However, none of the “public concerns” above have occurred even after a week of intense use. I started using this awesome mixxer about a week ago and I’m already loving it. It’s a hazard-free blender that blends all from my morning instant coffee to protein shake and to my bubble tea and finally egg yolk or even heavy whipping cream. It doesn’t matter if the liquid is warm or cold. As long as you don’t toss in any solid food, this mixxer will function properly and make the smoothest drink you can ever get. I have also run it through some durability tests like blending over-saturated fluids (yogurt powder) or shaved ice. The results were rather surprising that both turned out well with no damage on the mixxer. I used to blend my own personal protein shake in a conventional bladed blender, which always gave me foamy drink with lumps. I couldn’t blend it myself manually simply because protein powders are extremely hard to be dissolved in water and milk especially when cold. But with this revolutionary mixxer, I do not have to put up with those problems anymore. The blunt blade would evenly disperse powders evenly without destroying them in liquids. Its BPA free bottle is also a huge plus to the integrity of its design that it’s aroma free. But be sure to wash it right away after using. Otherwise if the residues dries inside the bottle it would take some effort to clean. Lastly, the cleaning part is as easy as one two three! 1. Fill up 75% of the bottle with water and some dish soap. 2. Turn on and let it blend for 30 seconds. 3. Turn off and repeat the same process with just water and dry. A friendly reminder: To keep it function well, DO NOT put in solids or use boiling hot liquids.

TL;DR - This shaker cup is amazing! Missing one star because it's not waterproof but that's just me be nitpicky! Buy it, you won't ragret it. Pros: - Mixes my protein and mass gainer with no problems. Add water, add powder, turn it on for a minute or so, and it should be good to go! - Only uses two triple A batteries (I recommend getting rechargeable ones!) - Easy to wash! Drop some dish soap in the cup, and turn it on! You can also remove the cup from the electric portion and wash it by hand too. It's what I do to prevent any water getting near the electronics. - Will hold up to 500 mL of water with no problems, probably more. I personally never used more than that in the cup itself Cons: - From personal experience, triple A batteries don't hold much of a charge. Thank goodness I got rechargeable batteries, which is what I suggest you do if you decide to get this, or I would find myself replacing the batteries constantly - You can wash it by dropping dish soap and turning it on, but that won't clean everything. You'll also need to clean the top of the lid, the outside of the cup if it's dirty, and the bottom side of the lid by hand in order to clean everything - Be careful of getting water near the bottom electric portion of the shaker cup. I made the mistake of doing so and now I'm buying another one :| Improvement suggestions: - Make it rechargeable. USB, wall outlet, or whatever it may be! Why not? Go green! Instead of having to replace batteries over and over, perhaps slap a lithium ion battery in the electric portion and you'll never have to worry about it for years (or however long lithium ion batteries are rated for) - Waterproof it. I messed up and got water in the bottom portion. My mistake. My opinion more than anything but, a shaker cup that's not waterproof? Eh? :| - Make different sizes of it. I like to add two scoops of mass gainer to my shaker cup, specifically Optimum Nutrition Mass Gainer. If I were to add two scoops to this shaker cup, I would not have room for any liquids to add. The scoops are enormous when compared to this cup. I'm only able to add one at a time.

So my blender went out a few months ago and I needed something more than one of those shaker mixers with the wisk ball in it to make my morning protein shakes. This works great. I will say I did feel the need to shake it initially just to get the protein powder submersed in the milk but after that I turned on my mixer and in about 2 minutes, there were no lumps of powder anymore. I also brought it to work to try it out with spark, I didn't even feel the need to shake with that one, blended perfectly with the water. I don't think this would be suitable for anything more than the raw milk and protein powders, after all this is just a battery operated mixer not a high power blender. Suited my needs perfectly.

In all honesty this is not a product you absolutely need, it simply does the same job of a £5 shaker, but in a much more fun and effortless way! I received this vortex shaker earlier today and I'm very pleased with it, it works very well and is beyond my expectations. The build quality is very nice with the plastic being much stronger than a standard shaker, and the arctic white colour also looks great. As far as mixing goes, it does the job. I was quite surprised at first when I saw the size of the rotating 'blade' (which is actually just a piece of weirdly shaped plastic), as it seemed rather... pathetic. However, I immediately tested it out with water and the whirlpool effect it creates when mixing works amazingly well, just like the product image shows. When I added protein powder (I tested it with more scoops than usual) it did slow down slightly when mixing, but it still worked. When you first press the on button, the rotator takes a few seconds to get properly spinning due to the powder restricting its flow, but then again you can't expect this to blend with the same power as a kitchen blender. The other thing I like about it is the fact that you don't have to keep re-shaking your shaker when you leave it for say 10 minutes. Instead, you simply hit the button, wait a few seconds, and it's perfectly drinkable again with no deposit left at the bottom. As far as mixing solid foods goes, this shaker would not work. It is definitely great for mixing protein shakes, but if you add things like bananas or peanut butter, the 'blade' is unlikely to cope with mixing it, although it only takes common sense to know that. Also note this does not include batteries, and you will need to buy 2 AAA batteries (the smaller ones).

アレラのザ・プロテイン(リッチバニラ)とKentaiのパワープロテイン(プレーン)を使用しています。 どちらのプロテインも効果面では素晴らしい商品なのですが､一般的なハンドシェーカーでのシェイクだと前者は泡立ちの多さ､後者は溶けにくさとダマの多さで非常に飲みにくく､何とかならないかと思っていました｡ そんな折､Tarzanの広告にてこの電動シェーカーの存在を知りまして､これは良さそうだと思い､発売を心待ちにしておりました｡ 実際に商品を手に取ってみると､デザインは想像以上にカッコよく､テーブルにポンと置いてあるだけでも様になります｡ 肝心の使用感も満足のいく物で､早い！泡立たない！ダマにならない！と良い事づくめ｡ 駆動音も静かです｡むしろハンドシェーカーを振る音の方がうるさいかも知れません｡ 何より､プロテインがあっと言う間に溶けていく様子を見ているのが楽しいです｡ また､プロテインの代わりに洗剤を入れて作動させるだけでシェーカー内の洗浄ができるのも楽でいいですね｡ この商品のおかげでトレーニング後のプロテインがますます楽しみになりました｡ 私と同じくハンドシェーカーに不満を持っている方や､毎日プロテインを飲んでいる方にはオススメです｡
