So I might have gone a little bit overkill, but when you look at the prices of the heaters you might as well buy one that doesnt have to work as hard and hence will last longer. I bought a 300w heater for a tank half the size that it was meant for. But I am also a college student living in a dorm that gets super cold during the winter (-20 degrees outside which means like 50 degrees inside because the college doesnt want to pay a bunch for heat) anyways, this heater has been an absolute champ with the cold. I dont like preset temperature heaters because they always run too hot in my opinion, this one is adjustable and very easy to read and change the temperature with. It has only been a couple weeks since I bought it but I am very impressed with both the protection in which the packaging offered as well as how well the product has worked for me so far. I very much recommend this, especially since the seller offers a guarantee on a working product or they will send a replacement. You dont see that much on Amazon and it made me happy to see that the seller was taking it into their own hands rather than Amazon making them.

I’ve used many heaters over the years on my many tanks, some more expensive than others, and this one works up there with some of the more expensive ones I have purchased.When I ordered it I was getting it as a backup to my 2 I currently use, and just a day before it was delivery one of my heaters shattered it’s glass. Well after running to kill the power to the tank, and asses the damage I was truly in need of a replacement heater.This aquarium heater came in at the best time, it was well packaged and works flawlessly in my tank. Being able to set the temperature for community tanks which run warmer than some other tanks is handy, don’t buy a heater unless you can adjust the temperature. It comes with very nice suction cups, and a nice aquarium thermometer as well. The included instruction sheet would be good for a beginner in the aquarium hobby.This heater is great for all tanks, be it fish or turtles, and at a very reasonable price. Comes with everything needed to setup and have it going within minutes of receiving it.

I bought two of these. The first one turned all the way up only got my 20gal to 80 degrees. It was reliable source of heat so i bought another and use it in a 15gal. And again only 80 degrees. I havent tried it in anything bigger but im assuming 80 degrees is the max......ok i wrote all that about 3 weeks ago. Today i have one of the two units i bought went out. Got up to a room temp tank today. So this isnt reliable and it also has a faulty thermostat.

It's a really good aquarium heater but the way they designed to heat up the water is little different from other that are more expensive. This heater will heat up by going to very hot then off and on again when it a little cool down. It will be on like 2 to 4 min and then turn off about 1 or 2 minutes. This will cycle until it reach the temperature you set.

It was a good heater while it lasted. Sometimes the water would go higher than normal but it does a good job at maintaining the water temp. But after a month or so it broke on me. It was like a small explosive that could have ended way worst but lucky it only broke the glass on the heater. Overall not good nor bad just okay. Just be cautious in what could happen.

I have a 60 gal. fish tank. I ordered 2 of these for each side of my tank. But I found out I have good circulation so I only needed one. The first one lasted about a year before it stopped heating. So I started using the second one but it only lasted 4 months. Headed to store now to buy another name brand heater.. maybe that will keep my tank at temp longer.

Awesome heater! Got a bad one and they sent a new one bo problem. Heats like a boss in my 54 gallon tank. Adjustable settings

I bought this to replace another heater that gave my tank major algae problems. Since I have started using this heater the water stays cleaner longer. I’m not fighting with algae growing on everything after a day.

This product works but I unplugged it to clean the tank and it burned?? Had to go to the store to buy another one. Different brand, it didn’t burn when I unplugged it and took it out the tank.

Unfortunately mine stopped working after a few months but the seller was nice enough to provide a refund even though it was more than 60 days. Good customer service!

I have a 90 gallon aquarium. I have to put it almost at 82 degrees just for it to keep around 77 degrees water temperature. Still does the job.

Unlike most heaters this one you can adjust to a certain temperature instead of like so many and just turning it up and not knowing what temperature.The auto shut off is a nice feature as well and this heater won't break the bank.I set the temperature between 76° and 78° and you can see by my digital temperature gun that the actual temperature of the water is 76.4°.

The pictures require there to be a drop in the power cord. The cord was so short even with an extention cord I had to fix it to the side of the tank instead of at the bottom as desired. Eventually the heater must have dry heated and cracked. Had only a month

I love the design and convenience of setting the temperature. A good product. Hey, there's nothing wrong with having a back up!

The item worked for a short period of time. Overall the product isn’t a bad buy for the price.
