Great bike for little kid

Nice quality! Perfect size! Hard tires- yeahhhh!
Great product! Easy to put together! Love the hard tires. A flat tire is the worst. Can flip the pedals out to use a bike with pedals or flip them in to use as a balance bike. Perfect height for a 4yr old

Solid construction, don't like the tires
The bike is solid steel, parts seem nice and sturdy overall. Paint/powder coat was applied well, no drips or missed spots. Bike is well-designed overall. The folding mechanism for the pedals is sturdy and secure, there's a clip to keep the folded pedals from moving, and they even have a clip to hold the allen wrench that tightens the pedals. Complaints: Seat and handle bars are really hard to tighten completely. You can get them tight, but you have to put some muscle into it. Also, the tires are some kind of non-marking material. I suppose that's so you can ride it in the house without making mom mad. I'll probably put real tires on the bike come springtime.

Helped my child gain confidence!
We bought a much larger bike (based on his height) for my son’s 5th birthday. He didn’t know how to handle it and it was a discouraging experience. At 48” he had far outgrown his balance bike but it was too big a jump to the bike we had purchased. This balance to pedal bike may be a bit small for him but I wish we had bought this months ago! It took him two days to be pedaling independently. It’s heavy for a balance bike so I would not recommend this for a 2-3 yr old. But it’s absolutely perfect for a 3.5-5 yr old (6 if the child is on the smaller side). The pedals fold in a bit clumsily sometimes, but it’s worth a bit of hassle to not have to disassemble and reassemble or switch back and forth between two different bikes. I wish the seat had a bit more height but that’s really my only complaint

Great first bike
Our 4 year old grandson loves it. Had a few issues with the seat not locking but have corrected that. Easy to assemble.

Ok as a balance bike, terrible as a pedal bike
This bike is ok as a balance bike, but it’s not as easy to balance on as a traditional balance bike which has resulted in a lot of wipeouts. When we switched the bike to pedal mode we realized there were a few issues with the design that make this bike terrible. The pedal height is completely disproportionate to the seat height, which makes this bike nearly impossible for a new rider to use. The seat doesn’t stay in place. The pedals are forever locking in place which prevents them from rotating as the rider pedals the bike. We replaced this bike with another bike and my son has had a much easier time riding it.

Great bike!
Easy to put together, easy to adjust seat height, tires are that perfect rubber/plastic solid (no flats), wheels are hard plastic, we sadly found out the wheels do not last through a good running over with a truck, however, regular bikes don't either ;) Overall satisfied with purchase, just looking for a replacement front wheel now instead of buying the bike all over again! *update* customer service is quick with responses, here on amazon and on little tikes website, unfortunately, no replacement parts for this bike yet.

Great idea, on paper
The bike was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It was too tall for my son when he was 2-3. About halfway to four he could sit on it. The pedals when in balance mode make for a wide straddle. Which can make balancing difficult. The pedals when in pedal mode keep locking into a non-spin position. This is very irritating for my son and myself as I have to constantly fix it. Overall my son enjoys it but I think if I had known of the issues I would have bought a balance bike for a year or two then a pedal bike.
